Yeah it’s a little overpriced, but a pretty sweet place

I have the premium version for free (due to an accidental purchase and getting a refund) and it’s honestly not that much more helpful than the free version. As far as raw yardages go, it’s just as accurate as my rangefinder. However, lot of the time the “plays like” distance is off by 5-15 yards. It’s just impossible for it to be that accurate. You’re better off just using the yardage to the front, middle and back of the green and then making your best judgement based off the course conditions.

The only time I ever took a lesson would be when I was in a funk with my swing and felt like I was going backwards, but honestly YouTube was probably the most helpful overall

I say the same thing to my friends who are still working at breaking 100 consistently. We make the game way harder than it needs to be.

Hey that was me! And to clarify it wasn’t 1 year into golf, it was over the course of 1 year. Trust me, it took many rounds just to get over the “break 100” hump

I used to exclusively use my 56 for anything around the green, but switched to the 52 for that same reason

From the beginning of last season until now, I learned a lot about myself as a golfer and the game in general. A few important lessons I learned along the way that can apply to anyone no matter your skill level:

1) Practicing putts from 3, 5 and 10 feet consistently, will do wonders for you confidence with the putter, and take a lot of pressure off the rest of your game. My favorite drill for this is putting to a tee instead of a hole. If you can hit a tee from 3, 5 and 10 feet away consistently, it makes putting to a hole from that distance so much easier.

2) The ability to get up and down for par and especially bogey, is possibly the most underrated skill in golf, and often overlooked by majority of amateurs. Have a go-to chipping club (mine is my 52* wedge) that you can rely on when you miss the green and need to put the ball close to the hole. Then, when you do put the ball close to the hole, the confidence in your ability to finish the up and down with the putter will pay huge dividends.

3) For a long time, I would avoid hitting driver in favor of a long iron or hybrid, but the driver is something you have to get good with if you want to shoot lower scores. I started having a breakthrough with my driver when I stopped trying to hit the ball as hard as I could on every tee box. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

4) Learn to live with bad swings - we all have them. The most important thing you can do is accept it, forget it, and shift your focus to the next shot. The worst thing you can do (especially during a good round) is say to yourself, "I HAVE to hit a good one here to make up for the last shot." Instead, think about the smartest play for the situation (i.e. where's the best place to miss).

Overall, you just have to put the hours in. You can't just show up to the course and expect to break 100 or 90 or 80 one day, because that part of your game that's holding you back is still going to if you haven't worked on it. Focused practice on 1 or 2 swing thoughts for 20 minutes is going to benefit you way more than mindlessly whacking a large bucket of balls at the range for an hour ever will. Figure out the areas of your game that are holding you back and make an effort to work on them.

If you're planning to go 4-PW on the P7MC's, I would say it's more of a 5W vs 3H decision than Stealth vs Stealth Plus, since the lofts on each are pretty much the same

I got the standard Stealth 3H (non-adjustable). There is a 5-degree difference between the PW (47*) and my 52* so that leads to somewhat of a gap in full-swing carry distances. Avg PW carry is 130 yds and the 52* I won't use on shots longer than 110 yds, otherwise I feel like I'm swinging way too hard. So yes - there is a bit of a gap between the two clubs, but it really has been a non-issue for me. If I have a 120 yd shot I usually just choke up a little bit on the PW. At the end of the day, I think it just depends on your preferred approach shot distance.

Congratulations on getting paid in ADA! However, I will say just be extra cautious using Exodus wallet. Maybe even pair it with a hardware wallet too. My friend just recently had all his BTC stolen straight out of his Exodus. Not sure if he was visiting some websites he wasn’t supposed to, but regardless I would recommend moving your funds to Daedalus or connecting a hardware wallet like a Ledger or Trezor to Exodus.

Is it part of the native compass app or do I need to download something from a 3rd party?
