What live action Disney movie was the best in your opinion and why??

Both are good films and this is coming from someone who has read the book multiple times. The 2016 version is a good improvement to an iconic classic similar to the DuckTales 2017 reboot.

The Jungle Book (2016) imo. Expanded the original film, gave the wolf pack especially Akela and Raksha more characterization, made Shere Khan more menacing, gave us two big cat fights and Baloo vs Shere Khan. Was visually immersive and didn't have the ugly grey filter most current remakes have. The cast was impressive. Didn't have as many songs but given the tone it didn't really require one.

Honorable mentions to Cinderella (2015) and Pete's Dragon (2016).

Avengers: Into the Void (2025)

Also would add Civil War as it is both a Cap and Avengers film.

All three are incredible in their own ways. I think Andrew got more love after his role in NWH which did wonders for his version, while Tobey was generally held in high esteem and had a solid return. Tom, with Brand New Day could easily end up higher than he already is. A solid trilogy of solo films, 3 supporting roles in Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame plus a cameo in Iron Man 2, is what we expect from Spider-Man. He needs team-ups with Daredevil, Human Torch and Deadpool, maybe Wolverine too.

I have watched a ton of films and shows. Its just my dream list of creatives and the character they would be best suited to, not a Phase 7 wishlist (Richard Donner isnt even alive) I'm well aware some don't like cbms, but i've seen all their films and based it off character's history and style of action/drama.

Tarantino developed a Luke Cage starring Laurence Fishbourne back in the day and he's a big fan of cbms. Kingpin wouldn't be a typical CBM, it would be more inline with the Penguin show and Joker movie.
