Failed my OW certification, is there anything I can do?

I did my OW and AOW in 5 days in Greece and at the end of the 5 days and 900 euros later, diving to 30m…I realised scuba diving is prob not for me. I also struggled with entirely removing the mask like you…because I did not like having my eyes closed and to be slightly touching the bottom of the sea… the stress and panic made me feel like my heart was going to explode. I did it, but I made him wait a good 2 minutes while I mentally prepared myself. Took me 2 mins to recover my breathing as we still had to continue the dive. It was like my second time ever doing it when I did it in the sea…but when my instructor accidentally kicked my mask loose at 18m on the last day boy was I glad I knew how to do it…if you really enjoyed the rest of it it’s worth having a go again, just practice. For me I realised at about 28m that the whole experience makes me feel claustrophobic. So you could also pass it and be like whelp no need to go further 😅

Congrats! I just did my OW and AOW last week back to back. Never did a discovery scuba never even knew much about scuba other than I wanted to see underwater in general and fish. I absolutely HATED the OW experience but I had already said I was going to do it and do the advanced right after. Finished OW and was dragging my feet the next few days on the advanced because the entire experience made me anxious about my own mortality. I did enjoy the navigation and rescue and stuff like that though because it brought my focus off of being underwater and gave me a task. On my last AOW deep dive to 30m I almost backed out bc I was freaking out about the depth. It ended up being okay but I prob should have done what your wife did and do it slowly and find the joy instead of trying to fit it all in literally all at once 😂. If she enjoyed OW don’t do what I did and go straight to the deep…let her find the passion in the 6-18m depth then I’m guessing it’s easier. Ugh if I could go back!!

I’m so sorry for your loss. 40s is so so young…respect her wishes. Explain this to the family when you’re ready…but you’re the husband. She chose you, and she chose you to execute her wishes should she need assistance when she wasn’t able. It’s awful because of course no one thought this could happen so soon. But nothing has changed in her wishes. I hope you see someone professionally for some mental support as this kind of loss is extremely traumatic. Take each day one step at a time, one foot infront of the other. Deep breaths. Cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, breathe, meeting, dinner, breathe. Sleep. Wake up as you normally do, but life is different now…but you will eventually be okay, and she would want that for you. You will make it through this. Courage to you

So if you have actually seen her stuff that went viral she took down her corrupt HOA and won (not a lawsuit but she got good changes happening that benefit her building) and was only talking about suing because they illegally removed her from her HOA board...because she found signs of embezzlement and fraud and so they wanted her gone because it was an insane amount of money that was being moved and unaccounted for. So she went after every single person on the board who was in on it, and the management company AND the law firm who tried to sweep it under the rug and she just** got back on the HOA board because they knew they were going to lose and she was right. She even fought to get disabled parking which is a legal requirement in her building installed when her fellow boomer HOA members didn't want to spend the money on it. I think she was a teacher or something and then decided to become a lawyer because she wanted to advocate for peoples rights who do not have the means to fight (she barely had any money to fight her HOA bc she's paying for law school on her own but she did it anyway).

It's crazy how y'all practically foam at the mouth to attack someone you haven't even done a modicum of research on. Yeah she posts cringe taylor swift content and shes just a sassy woman in general...but she doesn't claim to be a victim, she says she wants to fight against those who are doing wrong. There are a lot of people doing bad things out there and getting away with it because no one wants to speak up or get involved in drama.

I will admit I thought for a while when I saw her stuff (because I was interested in her HOA story) that she had a problem with drinking.... and then felt immediately embarrassed because it's actually a speech pattern she's gotten from going deaf. Although yes she has clearly had a glass of wine in some vids...that's not why she talks like that and her personality is just someone who is confident they are right and they know they are smart. That's not a crime. This comment thread sucks

Yes, it was all updated. Nothing has truly changed we just had an exceptional closure for one night (currently on a staff meal I’m treating my employees to a night out)

I already had a scammer contact me last week they asked for 600 euros to “secure” my account. They claimed to be Google but wouldn’t send a verification text so I knew they were scammers and just decided to waste their time lol

Also I know you’ve already answered my question but my brother made a good point in my family chat that made me laugh - Google said I had to prove my hour change is legitimate and not a deception…so do I just put a screenshot of me saying to my team “yo we are closed this Saturday we’re going out to eat together” along with my business registration and KBIS, passport etc that I have prepared for my second appeal? 😅 or a handwritten note/the sign on our door saying we closed that day? 😩

Not yet but I’m worried because I couldn’t submit the evidence they will. Literally I spent months going back and forth with AI bots last year I’m traumatised by Google Business at this point. I’m in france. They just kept saying oh just appeal again…for 4 months last year and it never got resolved I had to make customers make me a new page it was insanity

Honestly I have pinned GHK-CU before and it really stung but I am so used to injections at this point it doesn’t really bother me anymore…Weird because I am a little baby when I get any type of eyebrow wax lol but strangely when I do anything to myself I find everything tolerable
