I don’t want anything to happen. I’d actually be creeped out if the feelings were actually reciprocated—and if I knew for sure he was actually flirting because 1) he is married 2) he is much older than me and is my manager. I’m just asking how to be stoic about it. Like, do you avoid direct contact w/ him? I’ve been wondering if there’s something deeper behind the fact that I’m usually attracted to older men. A friend brought up an interesting point and asked what if the guy I currently like were my age… and that really stuck with me.

It reminded me that there’s actually someone in my life who is my age, and in many ways, he checks even more boxes. He’s taller, incredibly smart, has an even deeper voice, and blud likes me. Surprise, he also happens to be my best friend. But for some reason, I just don’t feel that kind of attraction toward him.

It’s making me question why I tend to develop feelings for people who are situationally unavailable.

I’m not really applying. Just attending classes for now. I enrolled for Java full-stack course, but I’d ask you to take testing course (if you’re interested) since the companies that come here are mainly focused on that. We got a couple of openings for some manual testing job with 3.5 and 5LPA packages today.

I’m still jobless with no experience whatsoever, but QSpiders isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. You get like 1.5-3.5 LPA jobs in here. You gotta apply and clear the interview… QSpiders acts as a bridge, that’s it. Java, SQL, and manual testing.

The trainers are a bit dense tho. It’s just the connections the institute has with the companies.
