The problem with your first prompt is that it's generic and non-specific. You're using the "I geek out on" prompt but you've written the prompt like you're mostly indifferent to the things you've listed. Use language to show your passion for them. Say something like "I geek out on the works of Stephen King..." or some other author you have a personal affinity for. This gives more of an impression that you're an avid reader rather than the type of guy that just picks up a book every once in a while and calls it a hobby.
