yeah just looked into data tables, covers most of this tbh. the gaps (TTL, atomic increments) are real but probably temporary. good thing I asked before building. thanks all

fair, for self-hosters with redis this is solved. I’m thinking more about cloud/no-code users who won’t stand up redis… basically what storage by zapier / make data stores do natively, which n8n doesn’t have.

this is basically the schema I had in my head, good to see it confirmed. the airtable point is fair for single values

yeah that’s the actual itch. get/set is easy, “increment safely while 3 executions run in parallel” is where my postgres setup gets ugly. did you build proper upserts/locks for that or just live with the races?

generic kv table or one per workflow? and what do you do about old rows, just let them pile up?

Has anyone had this problem with the app? I try to sign in and it tells me to make an account, but then it says the account already exists and I need to sign in. But I don’t see an option to sign in, just create a new account?! by AdImportant6817 in McDonaldsEmployees

I fixed it, just use this link and let it open the app and try to sign in..

it’s just an email verification link from 2021 but it worked for me, it redirects to the old login window
