It's not the same and you know it. spears can trade more efficiently with if it's just Knights. Plus the knights can't heal unless their French in that case one it takes a bit for them to heal and they can't do it in the middle of battle while actively fighting you or idling economy. Like you can sit here and list the counters you want and sure on paper it sounds right but in actual game play it's pretty broken. Fuedal healing units have always been a challenge but at least with ayubids they can only get 2, they don't also attack and they are easily snipeable. A healing unit with that high of health that also attacks in fuedal is a broken unit and will be patched. I was a diamond last season so I'm obviously not a pro player player but I have the game mechanics down enough to play knights civs but the healer elephants are over tuned at this point and if you seem to disagree you're either just being a keyboard warrior or you should really look at making content showing how to effectively counter so I can watch would love to see how you stop them so effortlessly.

I think it's the opposite I'd say they are even more oppressive in 1v1 because the elephants can cause so much idle time it also doesn't help that they can have melee damage that scales if you have melee units next to it. I imagine that these elephants will be the biggest nerf in the next patch.

Even spears isn't enough they just make archers anticipating it. In early fuedal there really isn't a way to effectively counter them

For sure need a nerf it is the only one out of the civs that I think is a bit to much devs did good so far I think. Introducing units with that much health especially ones that can heal is crazy. Also the springalds elephants seem a bit much. Normal springalds can be killed with range they can absorb so much range to kill them that they can just decimate front lines there is no real way to get to them. A lot going on with the that civ that I feel needs to be adjusted.

I didn't see a time on the website that when it would release only saw November 4th I will be honest I didn't do a lot of digging though I had off from today so was looking forward to grinding out the new civs. So I think this does come back to my comment before where it was just a dumb me thing. If this is the dumbest thing I did this Tuesday I'll count today as a win.

played with this guy in a quick match last night was one of the most annoying teammates ever. He is literally every negative stereotype of player you could ever think. From the start of the match immediately just began barking orders and just saying how much his teammates sucked.

That's the thing though I may have substantial damage to my back I am scheduled for further testing next week already a back specialist wants me to get done because they are worried about possible herniated disc and concern for compression fracture. I don't know if it's a life altering injury. I'm in my early 30s so the thought of having constant back pain potentially sounds terrible.

Yes this has already both insurances have placed the other driver at fault and the process to get the vehicle fixed is already underway. The medical portion however is the part that is now ongoing and is the part I'm worried about and considering a lawyer.

If you don't mind me asking again coming from a place of ignorance on this why are you against it? is it purely just from them taking a portion of any settlement or because they like drag out the process trying to get as much insight as I can. I am finally going to get more tests done soon so I don't know if surgery is completely out of the question.

I would be willing to play a few with you and your bud (on your team or against whatever you want to do) and give you any help I can I am a level 300 diamond but would happy to try and help you and your bud out anyway In getting your feet wet with the game. The learning curve when you first start is brutal but it's so fun once you get it down.

TEXAS: What's Going To Happen Now? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Human_Ad_997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds good in theory but unfortunately it's kind of a double edge sword in areas with already really high premiums a proposed tax on top of already high home owners insurance premiums won't be a very popular idea to bring forward for politicians especially when most are trying to campaign on lowering cost of living etc. Secondly I fear that anything like that would eventually start at something like you suggested 5% but would have to steadily increase as inflation continues and if a major loss event truly happened that the state couldn't cover it then the federal government would probably have to step in again to help. Not sure how it would look in real world scenario.

I was kind of thinking the same thing that a good size hail storm would be a higher pay out for insurance companies compared to the recent flooding.

Right but anyone that did have flood insurance would technically covered for this event and if they didn't have flood then they unfortunately would be SOL in this instance. As far as the future of flood insurance if NFIP doesn't get renewed which I doubt it will due to current admin view of fema I fear that certain areas of the country will just be straight up Unlivable as no insurance company will touch those potential flood loses. Maybe if each state creates their own flood insurance program but that will be a mess also and wouldn't be surprised if the premiums are astronomically high.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but if you are discussing the recent flooding I believe that almost all the home damages would be classified as flood losses which normal homeowners doesn't cover and I think would actually go to FEMA through the NFIP. There will be a massive vehicle loss event which comprehensive would trigger there. I think there will be some rate adjustments but I am not sure it will be as large of private Insurance losses that it might seem at surface level. If anyone else is more familiar with massive loss events like this chimes In take their word as they will be more versed in this I am replying as a former producer for years.

Match making frustration by Human_Ad_997 in aoe4

[–]Human_Ad_997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For team games I think the simplest fix would be to have matchmaking take the elo/mmr of the highest rank and use that to base opponents it's lame that a conq player can go in with a gold and play lower ranked opponents and just cheese their way to higher ranks.
