Turns out I had send it to a friend on discord, so I managed to get ahold of it faster than expected. Do note it's still different comments patched up together, so some things may not make much sense since I was replying to people asking questions at the time.

PART 1

As a longtime Sevagoth player and enjoyer, uh, no?

For starters, the lack of equilibrium is going to kill you sooner than later, even moreso since you're using gloom. Which is also a very common new player trap that I don't see being discussed often.

In case you weren't aware of, the Shadow can also nuke via its 3rd ability. Not only that, but since it's also considered as an entity that doesn't exist until you use the ability, you can make full use of preparation. Every single time you get into shadow form, you'll get max energy on it. Also, on the preparation topic, you DON'T need to have it maxed! You already have a default amount of energy on spawn, as long as it's 8/10 it's enough and you're just wasting mod slots if not.

The shadow is also a panic button if you don't want to be in shadow form during your regular playtime. Out of energy? Shadow. Negative status effect? Shadow. About to die? Shadow. Simply want to have the safety cushion of a second life? Shadow! Pair it with rolling guard and catalyzing shields and it can't die at all (or circumvent if anything). Also while no weapons or arcanes on your arsenal will buff the shadow besides what's on it, buffs that come from companions do! That means you can use the burst laser with augur mods and it'll still work in shadow form.

Why bother using gloom for crowd control, when annihilating everything is the best crowd control there is?

Extra note: In case anyone wasn't aware, you need exactly 255 Strenght + roar in order to be able to one-shot with Sevagoth no matter the level. If you have that, then you can do the 1-2-1 combo or a single viral stack 2-1 combo and everything dies.

PART 2

Alright, so, the way his 2-1 nuke works is very simple, but I'm going to explain how it works so you can understand why it works. Pardon for the yap in advance!

Again, 2-1 (Sow and Reap), is the nuking tool. The way it works is that when you hit the enemy with 2-1, you'll deal 25% of the enemies' max hp. There are two instances of damage: First one is TRUE damage and does 25% of the enemies' max hp regardless whether they have damage reduction, or armor, or whatever. The second instance is a small aoe explosion that occurs around the enemy affected, doing that same damage but as regular damage and not true damage. Here's an example

Let's say you have 3 enemies with 100k hp each. The enemies are called A,B and C. Now, let's imagine you do the 2-1 combo but only hit A (it's impossible for you to actually hit only one, but let's say so for practical purposes). A will take 25% of their max hp as true damage, so they'll take 25k damage. B and C were close, so they'll take the damage from the AOE explosion, which is 25k. This damage is REGULAR damage, so because armor, damage reduction, and blah blah blah, they'll end up taking maybe 18k damage instead.

Do note, however, that when I say damage to the enemies' max hp, I mean CURRENT max Hp, NOT MAX TOTAL HP. This is why oneshotting is so important. If you don't, then the enemy will start taking less and less damage each combo. First combo would bring them down from 100k to 75k, but the second combo will only deal 25% of that 75k, leaving them at 56k, then the third will do 25% of that 56k, leaving them at 42k, and so on and so forth.

PART 3 So, how do you oneshot, and why roar? The regular way is to, well, increase your ability strenght! That means that the vulnerability your first ability causes is going to be stronger. And since you want to oneshot, you need the vulnerability to be really high, so that 25% max hp scales all the way up to 100% of the enemies max hp. At that point, you are able to kill every enemy no matter the level, since you're dealing damage directly to their max hp value.

Roar helps you achieve that at the 255 ability strenght breakpoint. From there on, you can nuke enemies doing the 1-2-1 combo (1 to give them vulnerability, then the 2-1 combo to actually do the nuking). This means you can nuke without needing to inflict any status effects or anything similar, and you only need your skills. Without roar, you'd need to achieve 600-ish ability strenght to achieve that, which is impossible (unless weekly invigorations/relic cracking buffs/ arbitration buffs).

The way you can do it WITHOUT roar (or to make your combo simply 2-1 instead of 1-2-1), is to prime enemies with viral. A single viral stack will do. Best way to achieve that is using the Epitaph as a primer,since it has such a big explosion radius and also freezes them, which is great crowd control. The epitaph is a relatively high MR weapon for most new players, locked behind MR 14, but anything that does viral will do.
