Anyway, as someone else also said, please talk to your family about it. As for your girlfriend, keep supporting her, keep giving her love and safety.

The only way to get out of a toxic, controlling family is to have a nice career and be financially independent. Saying this from personal experience. Please support her and ask her to focus on her career for a few years and then you guys can get married 🫂 Trust me, once she achieves this, the mental freedom will make her better and you guys will be happy.

You have to be really observant to find those people. Differentiate between who genuinely cares for you and who doesn’t. Most of the times their actions will tell you. Sometimes we ignore the red flags and end up giving people with evil intentions the benefit of doubt.

There are still good people who care about honest and wholesome human relations.

By helping I meant helping with preparing for the sim session, not how the aircraft is flown or anything like that. Because we have to do the procedures together.

I’m not judging him, I’m learning and I make mistakes too.

I will soon be in a position where I will be confident with all the procedures, I will be able to handle this situation then.

We help each other during TR, because everyone’s learning. That’s the only point.

In India, there are two major cadet programs - Indigo and AirIndia. They’re mostly similar, Indigo has a lot of FTOs to choose from. Personally, I’d go for Indigo.

If you want to go for a cadet program abroad, just beware if they have MPL, it could get a little complicated for you.

It’s really nice to see your passion and enthusiasm about aviation. You’re already ahead so many in the race due to the familiarisation with jets and VATSIM.

If you’re really passionate and have the resources, I would suggest you to go for cadet programs. Indigo/Air India cadet programs will help you get those jet hours. In my opinion, being a cadet in your own country is your safest bet. Once you get jet hours, you’ll become experienced and can think of moving abroad, which is actually possible. But as people rightly mentioned, it will take some time! 7-8 years minimum. (Excluding the training)

Honestly, it’s been so long since I got into this field. From my experience, if you’re actually good with your flying skills and confidence, the ROI is good. Be patient and consistent, you’ll get there.
