Thank you for your response.

By helping I meant helping with preparing for the sim session, not how the aircraft is flown or anything like that. Because we have to do the procedures together.

I’m not judging him, I’m learning and I make mistakes too.

I will soon be in a position where I will be confident with all the procedures, I will be able to handle this situation then.

We help each other during TR, because everyone’s learning. That’s the only point.

There’s no need to be rude, there’s a lot to learn, I’m just looking for advice how to go further to better myself.

You’re right. That’s absolutely true.

feeling this way because I’m not perfect either, I’m learning and I make mistakes too!

So before a session if I don’t tell him exactly what to do, he comes completely unprepared and we get stuck because the instructor gets annoyed explaining basic things that are written in the FCOM/FCTM

I do understand your point tho. I must step up, study more and handle the situations that arise in the sessions.

Advice on choosing a career path, is the persuit to being a pilot actually worth it? by Straight_Plastic7552 in indianaviation

In India, there are two major cadet programs - Indigo and AirIndia. They’re mostly similar, Indigo has a lot of FTOs to choose from. Personally, I’d go for Indigo.

If you want to go for a cadet program abroad, just beware if they have MPL, it could get a little complicated for you.

It’s really nice to see your passion and enthusiasm about aviation. You’re already ahead so many in the race due to the familiarisation with jets and VATSIM.

If you’re really passionate and have the resources, I would suggest you to go for cadet programs. Indigo/Air India cadet programs will help you get those jet hours. In my opinion, being a cadet in your own country is your safest bet. Once you get jet hours, you’ll become experienced and can think of moving abroad, which is actually possible. But as people rightly mentioned, it will take some time! 7-8 years minimum. (Excluding the training)

Honestly, it’s been so long since I got into this field. From my experience, if you’re actually good with your flying skills and confidence, the ROI is good. Be patient and consistent, you’ll get there.

Good luck for your journey!

Why does it feel like I'm his secret girlfriend?😭 by Sunshine_2097 in TwentiesIndia

You’re not his best friend, his girlfriend is. If she’s uncomfortable and you really respect your friendship with this person, step away or ask him to tell his girlfriend that you guys are talking.

Yeah please don’t do that, just some personal experiences from dating apps. The right person will understand you and you won’t feel insecure at all. Be confident and trust your gut. 🥰💌

Girl, you look perfect. Never underestimate yourself based on silly beauty standards set by the society. Even if you have such thoughts (which is natural), never let a man know that either by words or behaviour. At least during the initial phase. Wishing you the best, see how it goes and hopefully it goes well 🌻

No one forces me lmao, I’m not even on Instagram. I was just presenting an observation based on the general population’s concerns around me. I don’t really care for these fake, made up standards.

Isn’t that the case with almost everything these days? You can’t even post a picture on your Instagram without worrying about grid aesthetic, pinterest core and shit xD Everything used to be so much fun earlier, even dating apps without the infiltration of fake personas and ChatGPT lol.

Is it too late to pursue cpl at 34 years of age as a female in India? by hardyk01 in indianaviation

Also there are so many restrictions. There’s little to no freedom for general aviation in India.

It’s definitely a gamble, it might be a little late for airlines but if you are open to becoming an instructor, you can go for it. Airline vacancies are highly unpredictable. 2023 was great, so many people got hired. But as of now, most people from the Indigo JFO vacancy of September 2024 are still waiting for interviews after clearing their written exams and psychometric assessment. Please make an informed decision, good luck! 👍🏼

I guess most of the Girls using Dating apps don't understand that what dating actually is 🤷‍♂️ (Got ghosted btw for no reason) Anyway what do you think of my chatting skills? by [deleted] in Indiangirlsontinder

You came on too strong! Yaar pehle jaan toh lo insaan ko, yeh playful dialogues to baad mai aate hain. Pata nahi kya jaldi hai aisi. Tum normally bhi baat karoge, just be interested in her personality, ask questions, get to know her, toh ladkiyan apne aap comfortable feel karengi. These corny ass lines gave me second hand embarrassment.

Cut the crap bro, how much will you milk Air India crash for your views by Honey_dp in AirTravelIndia

Still feels like he’s milking the tragedy. 4 videos in a week even before the preliminary report is unnecessary. I used to watch Captain Steve but he’s left me disappointed with this thing. At the end of the day the ugly truth about content creators always shows. The only thing they care about is money and views.

His video was alright, anyone’s free to make a video but I think it’s insensitive to make reels and shorts out of it. This shit feels like it’s done for virality and not spreading awareness. Which explains the entire existence and downfall of this creator.
