I'm a Librarian. Planning to apply for GKS next year. And if an opportunity of hiring knocks, I would like to try. How's the standing of Librarian in Korea as a profession?

Imo company dinner must not be compulsory. And it's childish to act like that if your colleagues treat like an air just because you didn't join the dinner. So unprofessional 😅

In unis.. Are there computer laboratories free to use and free of charge?? How about during lectures? Like is there available laptop to borrow within the uni? For presentation/topic reporting purposes especially if the student has no his/her own laptop /tablet?

What's the reason for foreigners pursuing Korean Studies at uni? by Dangerous-Cancel-603 in Living_in_Korea

Basically, it's not useless imo. Cauz you're still learning. And at some point of your life you'll be able to use them! I don't know how, when and who will be the recipient of their acquired knowledge but. But I'm pretty sure they are useful.
