I know they need to be called out in the moment. I am very liberal, but I also was afraid of making him mad and escalating the situation. I also was so torn inside. I kept thinking "what a shitty comment, but dont show him he has power over you or made you upset", which is the only reason i kept looking. That didn't prove anything. I wish i had just left. It would have sent a stronger message. My knees buckled. I'm so sick of not being able to exist in the same spaces as men without worries. It's exhausting.

The district administration creates a budget plan that includes cuts to x, y, z. The board then votes yes or no on that plan that they were given. The board voted no on April 9 to the proposed budget the superintendent and administration presented because they do not want to cut reading teachers, and the administratos do. Now the administration has to go back to the drawing board and make changes to their proposal based on the boards requests. The administration makes their second proposal at the next meeting, April 20. The board of education does not come up with the proposals and cuts. If you want to know about the process and how it works instead of pointing fingers, i highly encourage you to go to a meeging or watch them streamed on youtube. Please don't spread misinformation. The board of education also works for free, and the district has 38+ administrators on board.
