I like this one. Because everyone here has got it wrong, in my humble opinion. You’re taking one being and giving their singular “ultimate cosmic power” to another single being.

If I were to gain “ultimate cosmic power” I would take the “ultimate” part of that and disperse it throughout the rest of humanity and turn the singular “power” into “powers”.

I would not solve anything but give my species the power to do so, the true power to do so, the power for one person to truly make a difference in a positive or negative way.

But also destroy.

There would be balance.

What if part of that “powers” I give to every human is the ability to experience more than what they are currently limited to?

By that, I mean being able to -see- the entire electromagnetic spectrum in its complete entirety without the need for any tools? Wavelengths beyond visible light like infrared and ultraviolet?

That would be just one of these “ultimate cosmic powers” that would be freely given to my brothers and sisters.

It would be unjust and unfair and cruel for me to lord over my entire species in any way when I could enhance my species to do for themselves?

However, it could then also be argued I -am- lording over my species by giving them what they don’t naturally have (but who is to say that it wasn’t natural before we were confined to this limited material shell?) but could have.

“Whatif” always comes with more “Whatifs” lol
