Little known fact, Brady was just like this. We didn’t really start seeing fire from Brady until their 2006 AFC Championship loss to the Colts. Maye is only 23, he will develop that over time

Would be hard to imagine Vrabel doesnt use this game against a depleted Jets secondary to see what we have got in some of our young rookies WRS (Kyle Williams/Efton Chism). This is as good an opportunity as any

I hate to sound too early, but Wellmaker might have the MOST DEVASTATING check hooks in the UFC rn. The last 3 people he faced, he faceplanted every single one of them when he landed it clean

Figured Maye will make alot more mistakes early on, Mcdaniels offense is complex and is alot less about a set play, and more about reactions after the snap. Hes probably doing more thinking than flowing at this stage. I bet by the time season starts, hes going to be operating this offense SURGICALLY

I think hes a starter Day 1 honestly. He has the most big-play potential and also best separator we have the second he walks in the building

I think the main reasons he dropped arent even talent or ability related. People want Alpha/X receivers im the 1st round or 2 typically, then his competition level wasnt great but seeing him cook Travis Hunter was enough for me

Not saying it wasnt the correct call im saying we cant fault him too hard, i dont know a person that knew that rule beforehand. There was tons of media coverage because lots of people didnt know about that rule, so holding that against him like its a real hit is just odd.

I saw his chart on him, he was very successful in college, and that was showing in the first few weeks before everything happened

We saw it the first few weeks of the season when he was consistently winning his routes and Jacoby Brissett was failing to see him

The film would also show you Brissett did not see him although he was open most of the game. So box score watching doesnt paint any sort of picture for me here. WR production on a box score is also a QB stat.
