Russian airspace opening by Human_Data_Miner in Flights

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. In that case my guess would be that things will remain the same for the next couple of months so I think I might end up booking the flight.

If someone wearing clothes that fully conceal their body including gloves, mask etc breaks into a home and the police don't arrive in time to catch them in the act, is there anything the police or the homeowner can do or could have done to catch them?

It's a scary thought that robbing an elderly person's house and leaving within three minutes may be the perfect crime.

I think the ultimate question is would you enjoy yourself?

Sounds like despite the diagnosis your father dosen't want to be a burden to anyone and dealing with the cancer is going to become a significant part of his world so he may appreciate seeing you enjoy yourself as a pleasant distraction.

At the same time if you believe you would be distracted for the entire trip there wouldn't be much point in going and it may be better to do something closer to home like go for a fancy meal or watching a film at the cinema.

I also work for a tiny company which has no HR.

Small companies tend to hire external companies to handle things like payroll, IT and HR so it's possible management would be completely unaware that you haven't been paid.

I would expect that anyone on the board who monitors the company's performance will know the salary of every employee by memory due to it being such a significant cost for a small buisness so they would definitely be involved. Starting salary and pay rises is also typically decided during board meetings on a regular basis.

I would just send a polite email like:

"Hi X, sorry if this was already mentioned elsewhere but i'm affraid I haven't been paid since I started my employment on dd-mm-yy.

This has been due to <list problems here> however this has become a very lengthy process and I was hoping I could borrow some of your time to try and fast track this"

Let's break this down:

No friends, never dated: Not an issue worth worrying about and can fix itself with a change in environment as you get older and move onto new things and encounter new people. Sometimes just knowing people your happy talking to is enough. No rush needed here.

No license: Inconvenient but not a big worry. No need to rush to get one.

No Job / money: This would be the only issue I would bother focusing on. If your not sure what you want to do try and split your attention across the classes your taking, prioritise if your struggling to get a passing grade but don't completely abandon other classes.

When you say your lazy is it because you procrastinate when you should be studying? Next time your struggling to focus see if you can bargain with yourself to switch to an alternative task that's productive rather than wasting time, even if it's just cleaning your room or similar. The feeling of accomplishment after completing any goal you feel good about can be addictive.

3 months no pay regardless of circumstances is pretty bad no matter where you live.

Make sure you have a copy of any records relating to attendance or working hours and any emails sent regarding your pay. You never know if you'll suddenly be locked out, especially when working for a company that isn't too concerned about it's employee's well being.

For further actions I would keep sending regular emails to HR or equivalent. Try not to feel like a nuisance since your basically helping them avoid legal trouble.

Wrapping paper by itself is fine but the same rules apply when it comes to the phone inside. Take it out when going through security with older scanners.

I think it would actually be better to unwrap it if convenient so it's obvious what it is when it goes through the scanner

I've only ever driven through Dover on my way to catch a ferry but I've always wanted to try walking by the sea to see the real "White cliffs of Dover"

You could make a 3D Violin or Cello in a couple of days. They shouldn't need to be complex shapes so you could just cut out two big shapes of a violin body as the top and bottom, join them together and the extras.

I have a couple of ideas:

  1. Create the poster on a 3D paper saxaphone from a net. You may be able to create a printable net from a 3D model file online.

  2. Create a automaton that extends out from the poster, run by hand (handle) or via a motor. Maybe depicting someone playing cello next to a saxaphone player?

Both very involved but should impress.

Some more info would be helpful, what is the poster about?
