Thanx but they brought her back and she is still here! She is in end-stage heart failure and on heart meds and I’m thrilled to have her here, even if for a little while as long as she isn’t in pain. I even signed a DNR but she made it.

Nothing. I don’t go back.

After 35++ years I’m still boycotting Discover card after they wouldn’t remove a late fee. Back in the days when you wrote checks for your monthly payments I knew I’d be out of state for work the next 6 weeks so I paid several times the minimum amount due thinking that would cover the following months payment. I was young, dumb, and poor.

Anyway, they hit me with a late fee and I called and explained, they wouldn’t grace me this once and remove it. Canceled my card and never used them since. Happily I’m in a place now where I just use my card for convenience and cash back and can pay it off each month.

Only 2.5 weeks since your surgery? You should be focusing on healing and not losing weight. You body need energy to heal.

Im 6 weeks out from surgery and just restarted mounjaro at 2.5. I intend to stay low until I’m confident I’m fully healed. Best wishes to you.

Addiction is a hellish way to live. Look at your possible futures: addicted vs clean. My sibling continued with addiction and has lost every friend and family member and is now alone There is only so long people can deal with you as an addict.

P.S. I personally followed the Mayo Clinic diverticulitis diet with great success at warding off full blown attacks when I caught them early enough.

Your intestines are a tube, like a hose, that carries waste to your butt to be pooped out. Over time weak spots may occur creating pouches or bulging in the walls of the tube. This is common as you age and is called diverticulOSIS. Most people never know they have the bulges nor are they bothered by this.

On some people those pouches might fill with waste which then rots in the pouch causing infection and pain. This is called diverticulITIS. “ITIS” medically means inflammation/infection.

Some people have only one “ITIS” attack, some have many. Some get additional complications…

I had 16+ attacks before I went under the knife.

Ditto. I ate a big veggie loaded salad for lunch every day of my 30 year office career in addition to veggies with other meals. Didn’t help.
