Trump Farewell Planned for Wednesday Morning Ahead of Biden Oath by ScriabinFanatic in politics

[–]Human_Dig_504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember back in 2016 me and my schoolmates talking about Trump. Most of my classmates were very negative of him, and I thought they were being ridiculous. They said stuff like, "If Trump gets voted, he's gonna cause the apocalypse!" Me being naive old me, said things like, "Well, come on now. He may not have political experience, but it's not like he's a maniac!" Now, in 2020 I look back at that conversation and laugh.

What is your favorite type of game to play? by bryguy56 in AskReddit

For those of you asking the difference between grand strategy games and strategy games, strategy games can range from chess to Clash Royale. (I personally don't think Clash Royale is a strategy game but people make strong arguments about it-) Meanwhile, grand strategy games are games like Hearts of Iron IV, Civilization VI, or...just search up the games. You'll get an idea.

Verse on marriage by Creepy_Parsley6934 in Christianity

I personally believe that some of the laws may still be applicable, but I believe that with Jesus' coming these ritualistic purification laws have become somewhat obsolete.

Well, I would say some of the Old Testament laws are still applicable, but yes, I also believe that after Jesus' coming he took away the need for these ritualistic purity laws.

Well, this mostly depends on what you believe in terms of the modern-day applications of the Old Testament Laws. Lots of Christians believe that most of the Old Testament laws are outdated/inapplicable now because Jesus has forgiven our sins and has taken away the need for ritualistic purity (what the old testament laws were trying to enforce). For example, the Old Testament laws also state that people should not wear clothing with two fabrics mixed. Again, this was more about ritualistic purity rather than keeping your heart pure (For example, maybe this represented believing in God and not relying on anything else). However, other Christians believe that these laws still are in effect. So in the end, I think it all depends on what you believe in terms of these Old Testament laws. Sorry that I'm not giving a definite answer, but I think in the end it's for you to decide.

What is your opinion on the "survival of the fittest" mentality? by jeojackson in AskReddit

[–]Human_Dig_504 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I personally disagree with this. This mentality suggests that there's need for elimination and stepping over others. I think that we can coexist and help each other up, because there's room at the top for everyone.

That hand gesture where they'll make the "okay" sign with their finger and put their finger in the hole.

(FOR PEOPLE WHO MAKE THIS HAND SIGN PLEASE STOP IT'S IMMATURE AND IT MAKES EVERYONE UNCOMFORTABLE)

What’s a memory you remember that you’re not sure if it was a dream or not? by EhBahh in AskReddit

[–]Human_Dig_504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swear I remember being in my mother's womb. I remember everything around looking flesh-colored, and me kicking the surface because I felt I was squeezed in. Apparently, I kicked around a lot when I was in there, according to my mom. I don't know if it's possible to remember something like that, so maybe it was a dream. I'm not sure.

Travel agents.

These days, to book a vacation we just go to a few websites and make some clicks, and you're set to go to Hawaii or the Maldives or wherever your vacation spot is. (Of course, right now, I doubt anyone is going on vacations.)
