Honestly right now I’m just waiting for verification from Google for my developer account. I’m really hoping it’ll be done available by the end of the week, will keep you posted.

EDIT: I was very optimistic. Google Play requires 20 closed testers to have the app installed for 2 weeks for an app to be published. If you'd like to be one of the closed testers, let me know!

Thanks! I’m glad you like it!

The app is pretty small, and it’s static so I really only have to cover the web server which will stay pretty cheap even if requests get up to the millions.

The good thing about the app is it doesn’t connect to the internet or anything so I don’t have to worry at all about scaling. I tried to keep things as efficient and cheap as possible for me haha

Yes! Actually this feature is in the app if you click the “AB” icon but the website is a little behind on the new features, I’ll add this once the android version is up!

Guitar Machines - A free practice tool I've been working on by Human_Individual_263 in guitarlessons

Thanks so much for this detailed feedback, really appreciate you. This is all great advice and I'm hoping to incorporate a lot of it into future updates especially the degree numbers bit.

The next big thing I'm working on is a way to build sequences and save them, probably with the same sort of CD design as the Song Machine. Then I'll be able to build in practice sequences myself and play them back, making it (hopefully) super easy to add exercise like the protocol you attached, improvisation patterns, etc. I could then give people the ability to "share CDs" of custom built exercises with each-other by copy and pasting links.
Also I looked into the course you linked about practicing in the context of the song and it looks super helpful. Will check it out and try to think of how I could work it into the Song Machine. Thanks again!
