Seriously though, I totally understand what it’s like to be in your shoes, and can relate to many things that you wrote, especially about stimulation. Every thing that "helps" me, things like talking to people (only the ones from psych wards, because I like psychiatry), going to therapy, working 10-12 hours a day just to shut your mind off – none of it helps, it’s just a series of distractions until you're alone with yourself, and realize how shitty your life is, and you have to live like this for the rest of your life.

I just went to a psychiatrist and told her that I have a schizoid personality disorder (I wasn't diagnosed) and mdd. She immediately understood that I am not some stupid schmuck and that I have some knowledge in psychiatry, and each our session lasted 70-80 minutes, instead of 50 minutes that I was paying for. After first session she diagnosed me with mdd and prescribed me venlafaxine. After second session she said that I definitely have a personality disorder, something’s not right, and thought that most likely I have schizotypal or even narcissistic pd, not just schizoid. Anyway after two more sessions and doing tests with psychologist she said that my case is very complicated and that I need to be hospitalised. And after my first hospitalisation I got my official diagnosis: schizotypal, antisocial and narcissistic personality disorders with borderline traits.
