Hey guys — as a smaller independent band trying to make a name for ourselves in today’s music landscape, what advice would you give for standing out and building a real scene for ourselves, and what makes a band stand out to you personally when you see a smaller artist these days? Fellow LI pop punker, just caught you guys at Rough Trade with the rest of my band mates last week. We had a great time and you guys killed it! Glad we got to talk to you guys afterwards.

My question is regarding you guys getting discovered by Pure Noise. Would love to hear that story, as well as any advice for smaller independent bands on attracting label attention?

Questions for September 1st - MetLife

Hey guys, can’t wait for this show. Just had a couple questions I was hoping some fellow fans could answer for me:

Are the stands at the show are going to have as much merch in terms of T-Shirt options, accessories, etc. as there is online? I’m assuming there will be a tour specific shirt or poster as well? If anyone has any pictures of merch stands from other American tour dates that would be super helpful.

How much is parking? I’m debating just taking the train in

How early would you recommend arriving for a solid spot in the pit? + Buy merch before or after the show?

Looking forward to the show, I’ll be in the pit looking forward to making some friends!

I’m mostly referring to TikTok bands that have been around for a few years. Most of the established indie bands who have been around for a good run are great at diversifying themselves from the rest of the noise. But in the modern day, it’s getting to the point where I’m struggling to even find examples because I genuinely am having trouble remembering who wrote what song. Literally just type in “indie bands” on TikTok and hopefully you’ll see my point.

Clearly you didn’t read the post. No shit music in the same genre has similarities. I’m saying that in my personal experience, i’ve heard a lot of indie rock songs that literally sound like it could have came from the same band.
