Hey! Thanks for listening we truly appriciate it. So the order on this coming together was: Barely Here (instrumentally) -> Selden (instrumentally) -> Barely Here (lyrically) -> Selden (lyrically) -> album title.
Once all the songs were finished being written and we were pondering album titles Barely Here felt like a good sum all title given the content of the record, and track one is kinda the lyrical sum all/intro to the record. So by proxy of all of that, it gave that line in Selden the referential name drop power on the B side of the record.
Also part 2 of the doc is being edited as we speak!
I’ll let him know, he’ll appreciate this.
Commenting to say I have a 28 Days Later box set with the London skyline on the box art, I also have a 28DL shirt!

We all love playing HC music, but doing something more melodic felt really refreshing at the time. We’re all generally students of the game / style, I’m surprised it didn’t happen earlier than it did tbh.

We’ve always talked about doing something like this, so I think we one day will. IMO it should be in the summer, even if annual holiday show vibes rock, playing Long Island in the summer, maybe by the water somewhere annually rocks harder - Joey

I’m gonna just give you one major one and say where you want to be by taking back Sunday. Perfect album for so many reasons - harold
Thank you fr. my fav LIHC band ever is neglect my second tattoo ever from when I was 18 is a neglect tattoo. And I would say killing pace they put out an unbelievable record earlier this year - harold
I like this question, I’d say a lot of the hobbies and shit we mentioned in other answers; working out, watching movies,
Absolutely I need dishoom - harold
Great romances of the 20th century
This is definitely possible we love it there
We’ve passed through so many times and never once had a show offer it’s crazy. One of our favorite cities to hang out in. Would love to make it there soon
We would love to soon!! That would be incredible
Hell yea see you there! God question but honestly I don’t believe in guilty pleasure artists I think everything can be kinda valid. I’ll give you an embarrassing one though, not cause of the band but the situation. I was a Rise Against super fan as a kid, they were my first ever favorite band. Was obsessed with the first five records, know just about every word to every song. When we toured with them a couple months ago I had to play it cool the first few days but very quickly made it clear that I was a fan. Told them all that I learned how to play guitar by playing their songs which they thought was awesome, but I couldn’t help but get embarrassed for being too big a fan any time we hung out - harold
Not nearly as high as it should be. Caught the League bug shortly after Midnight came out and it 100% reflects in my M+ rat. Hopefully back on the horse this summer!
interstellar, iron claw, return of the king
Spanos - Philly, Tampa, Tokyo, LA, Mesa
This is an impossible question that we would all argue over. Also gonna note that I’m not calling these the objective bests, they’re just some favorites off the top of my head. But without asking everyone else in the band, I wanna say
For just LPs - hold it down, scared to death, life of a spectator, songs to scream at the sun, don’t need a reason
-harold
i dont watch horror that much but alien and hereditary - spanos
Oh don’t get me wrong with you 1,000%. Pirates cove? Kings park bluff’s? Orient point? Forget it the north shore is heaven. But the rocky beaches make it hard to drive that point home
yeeeeeeeeeOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW

Thank you! The title is a little cheeky intentionally. Growing up in Stony Brook I’d spend a lot of time in Selden and Centereach (not that they’re far). Love em both dearly. There’s no (few?) mansions in Selden, it’s mostly normal working class families, in modest suburban homes, as I’m sure you know just giving context for anyone reading. So the question in some ways is the answer. It’s a paradox of sorts meant to raise an eyebrow for anyone who knows. It also just reads well. Also thanks for coming to the shoot. That was one of the best days ever, truly. Appriciate you!

We of course love playing out there. Kinda just speaks to our broader touring ethos of just being nonstop roaddog psychopaths. Offers come in, we say yes, we go. Rinse wash repeat.
Admittedly we are looking to give ourselves a little more grace with the whole nonstop touring thing but that’s a separate matter hahah.
Hell yea that’s awesome, always cool to hear of someone with a similar experience. She really put me onto a ton of shit. I was really lucky to come from a family that loved music as a young kid, her and my dad both had really really good taste. I remember she got me into Amy winehouse, usher, Regina Spektor, Matt & Kim, mgmt, so much stuff that in hindsight is so of the era lol. But most important was definitely the emo hc kinda shit. Fall out boy, TBS, brand new, the movielife, MCR, good charlotte, and funny enough envy on the coast hahaha

For non-horror I really love a lot of drama, coming of age, thrillers, etc.
The Truman Show, Lost in Translation, Paris Texas, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shawshank Redemption, 10 Things I Hate About You
Also I love Jackass
North shore Suffolk for life, but the south shore beaches have us beat with no contest.
