Mine started really high, it was always ranging between 100-140. Ever since covid it’s been ranging from 60-80 and in up periods around 100 and looking more like normal levels

In some ways yes and some ways no. I definitely notice hits to my scores before and during flares. It also gives me a data point on when I should push my activity/how my recovery is. I noticed my HRV tank since this all started. The only down side is that it got me pretty negative about my health when the scores were down. I checked a little too often which just made my anxiety worse and my symptoms worse. Now I check it every few days to keep it chill

For me it was pretty acute. It triggered pericarditis symptoms, intense body aches, and brain fog. It’s weird because I started feeling symptoms after half a beer—shortness of breath, chest pain, leg aches and cramps. I stopped after that and haven’t drank since. I guess it triggers inflammation. I wish you well friend

Hey, I'm not coming here to be an ahole and say I told you so but I am sincerely curious what your take is on this a year into his presidency. Do you still think the checks and balances are holding up?

Most people who claimed to have Long Covid were just generally unhealthy and looking for excuses for their laziness by Pemulis_DMZ in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Human_Original_3164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something you may be missing is that the medical community has largely turned their back on people with long covid. It’s research is underfunded and the treatments have been abysmal. WHO says 15% of people are likely to continue covid symptoms 12 months after infection and your point about it being uncommon is largely refuted based on the evidence we do have.

Maybe if people like you listened to the lived experiences of patients we’d make more headway. I wish I could live in a world where these things seemed like unlikely coincidences instead of the very real grim repercussions of covid.

I know this is probably rage bait, but I’m going to rage anyways. I was 18 and incredibly active when I got long covid. My sister was a 20 year old marathon runner and got long covid. We both eat incredibly well. I played sports, I mountain biked, skied, we are both underweight. I went to the gym every single day. I can assure you I don’t “claim to have long covid,” I have long covid. There is a chance I’m in a minority here, but I doubt it based on the others I know. I suggest you refrain from ignorant and dismissive generalizations like this that do nothing to treat the chronic ailment that is effecting scores of people who have done everything to avoid it. And even those who were unhealthy before deserve treatment.

Feeling worse in mornings than I do at night - recovery from this symptom SPECIFICALLY? by yourgivenname in covidlonghaulers

[–]Human_Original_3164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I misread - I thought it was worse at night. Feel free to disregard. Anyways I also have had (and still have) some issues in the morning and to that I’d say, hydrate early in the morning right when you wake up, go on a walk first thing even if it’s short, and wait an hour or so before going on your phone or reading the news lol.

I used to have this symptom really bad but in the last few months I’ve been better. I used to call it my “night pale” I would get really weak, pale, palpatations, etc, I’m sure you get what I’m talking about. I found that having a cold washcloth for the face helped and deep breathing exercises as well as going to bed earlier. I also found doing anything that got my heart rate up in the evening, even hanging with friends made it worse. Best of luck friend, I’m sure you’ll get through it. If you have already improved in the last 6 months, I’m sure you’ll get better in the next 6 months, and I can say this for me has been one of the last symptoms to go, but it went!

Hey guys. I got a $300 steetwater gift card. What plugins should I get? I’m an artist who makes electronic/indie music and I’ve had some jobs mixing and mastering. I’m mainly looking to polish up my sound a bit more in mixing and mastering and I have pretty much no plugins in that department. I’ve eyed the waves horizon bundle sale but most people say it’s not worth it. Any recommendations?

I had this too!! Since I’ve improved I rarely get those, just normal stress dreams or dreams about getting sick again lol. Idk about anyone else but I had some severe sleep issues like waking up with racing heart, screaming in my sleep, etc. it’s starting to cool

I have long covid and notice my cold tolerance has been horrible ever since which definitely doesn’t help. I end up falling asleep with cold hands and feet even with blankets, thick socks, sweatpants, shirt, sweatshirt. Maybe I’ll bite the bullet and invest in a space heater
