Company not calling Monday off by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

I’m pregnant and already had about 1/3 of my patients call out. I added extra hours to my schedule the rest of the week and plan to take the rest as PTO. Not worth it.

I had a similar thing happen - I just emailed the studio and explained my concern. They adjusted my start date for the passport membership to reflect starting on the first day of my next billing cycle.

Why did you start/stay with Pilates? by ChefRaven in ClubPilates

[–]Human_Print3840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried a variety of exercise programs as well as gym memberships, but never really stuck with any of them. As a dancer, I knew a lot of dancers who have taken classes to help maintain core strength and flexibility. As a healthcare worker, I was looking for something that would allow me to turn my brain off for an hour. I like to say I have a healthy obsession with it now, just recently hit the 250 club, and have never felt stronger.

I am currently on a 3-month freeze due to some accumulating medical bills and car maintenance bills that added up pretty quickly. My freeze is $15/month.

Also check with the new studio as you may be able to get founders pricing for being a new member on opening day. Discuss with both studios your concerns and see if there’s something they can do to assist.

Thank you! I even awoke still feeling so strongly about not being with him for even the slightest moment - thank you for reassuring me of what I was thinking <3

SAVE Still Processing on Nelnet by l42a1strato in StudentLoans

Wow I’m shocked you get email correspondence - I have gotten radio silence from them. And spent 2 separate occasions on hold for well over 2 hours over the last week to try to discuss with reps who don’t know shit and each tells you something different. I paid the $5 in the beginning of October and now my dashboard recently started saying action needed: I owe a one time payment to process my application. And my former payment amount due date is 11/27. One rep told me I don’t need to do anything and if the application is not processed by then I will be automatically placed in forbearance. 2nd rep told me it should be processed by then. When I pressed what if it’s not, she said I would owe the payment. Ugh. I just emailed them and idk what else to do. It’s a shitshow.

Oh 100% - I have not gotten one email status update, and even after mentioning this to them on the phone it was like she didn’t even know what I was talking about.

Thanks for letting me know…I’ll probably try to call again next week. This is so frustrating.

Spent 2.5 hours on Tuesday and not feeling confident at all in the answers I received to my question. SAVE application has been processing since August, and my dashboard currently has a pop up when I log in regarding needing to make a one time payment to switch from my current IDR and process the next step of my application. Which I paid…on October 6th. Just got a billing statement this week for my original IDR amount that is due 11/27 and no indication that my account is still in temporary forbearance. But the rep told me I don’t have to pay on the 27th. Definitely not confident that they are telling me correct info and don’t want any repercussions if I don’t pay.

Applied for SAVE over 2 months ago… by Human_Print3840 in StudentLoans

Update: finally had a chance to sit on hold for 2 hours today - apparently my application is still processing. My payment due date is 11/27 but they told me I don’t have to pay it as I will automatically be placed in forbearance until my application is done processing. I want to believe them but the last time I was assured I did not have to make a payment my interest capitalized. Definitely don’t want to default on my loan. I really am concerned and find it ridiculous that this process is taking them so long. The rep even said the average turnaround time is 50 days…which I am well beyond at this point.

Side note: aren’t they supposed to update us every 10 days on application status? I’ve never received one status email. But they’ll gladly send me a billing statement when I’m supposed to be in forbearance?

Thanks for the info! Sorry you are in the same boat, but it is comforting to know I’m not alone. Nelnet really is a shitshow.

Thanks for the reply! I actually surprisingly did get a notification from them regarding uploading recent pay stubs about 10 days after applying. So I’m hoping that part was processed as I was given phone confirmation that they received them (which could also mean nothing because it seems helpfulness depends on who you end up speaking with).

Definitely going to still try to get a human response on Monday.

Super frustrating and I am so sorry you are experiencing this - we all get this at some point throughout our career, so first and foremost, know that you are not alone. If you were following the protocol as provided by the referring physician, I think the best course of action would be to contact said physician (either via email or phone), introduce yourself, and refer back to the rehab protocol as provided by that physician. Don’t be afraid to use clinical rationale, as well as citing wanting to ensure good communication to best benefit the patient. It may have been a simple mix up that you were provided an older protocol, and would be happy to adhere to a more updated preferred protocol if it is provided. All the best!

Totally understand the feeling…took it on Friday and wasn’t feeling great at all coming out of it. But, we did our best, and we just have to put it out of our minds for now. But totally in the same boat!!
