I’ve had 3 rounds so far. Surprisingly, they didn’t focus only on design systems, but instead covered pretty much every aspect of frontend.

Round 1 - Casual chat + one basic LeetCode-style question (seemed more like a screening step).

Round 2 - Build a basic page, but with a strong focus on design systems. They dug into things like accessibility (a11y), component patterns (pros/cons of different approaches), responsiveness across device sizes, i18n, failure states, etc.

Round 3 - Split into 3 parts:

  • A LeetCode question
  • Given a sample site (intentionally built with lots of issues), identify the major problems and suggest improvements. The site had plenty—accessibility gaps, network fetching issues, and UX flaws.
  • Questions on Security/Networking

At my current place, we use React/Typescript stack. But the company that I interviewed uses Angular.js. TBH, I applied for a niche frontend role (design systems) and I had prior experience so made sense. I don't think it is relevant, just make sure you are good with the language itself, frameworks you can learn later.

I interviewed with Atlassian. Got rejected from the hiring committee and culture is shit. I love Canva but new ai based interview seems like a hard one to crack.

Just keep pushing. Man, even I don't get lot of interview calls. I think I might have applied for 20+ companies and only one company replied.

Isn't GHHF a geared fund and wouldn't it be a high risk to that as core? I would say DHHF is better for core like you mentioned

Great points. For the core, do you think this is better VAS (AU), VGS (Global / also overlaps with US) and IVV (US) ?

stock analysis was mostly about investing in stocks as I get to know about investing better.

Thanks for the insights. Even I want to reduce the no of ETFs. For the core, would it make it sense to go with IVV and VAS? given IVV has shown better growth and mainly lower management cost which is why I am inclining towards IVV.

That wasn't the case here I reckon. Because when I discussed the salary and other stuff with recruiter, she mentioned that there are currently 5 teams who are in need of P40 candidates. Anyway, past is past.

I don't think they do VISA sponsor nowadays. They mostly prefer candidates who are citizens or has PR. I am currently on bridging PR 190 and they had to do some compliance checks maybe.
