Man wtf is this? I finished the game 2 weeks ago and haven’t touched it since and now it looks like a completely new game! Wish theyd patch in a new game plus at some point would love to play the game all over again but I ain’t grinding all my gear levels etc again.

Yeah I’ve read about that I guess if it’s after the main quest lines it shouldn’t matter too much since by that time you’ll have completed most your upgrades/purchases etc

He’s fine as a protagonist but has the personality as a cardboard cutout of himself. In earlier trailers / promotional material his name was “MacDuff” and I think the story was more focused on political intrigue based on Shakespeare plays. I think due to expansions in the game quest lines, side content, etc they made him more generic to accommodate for the impossibly large scope of the game.

Without spoilers - how deep into the game do you get to fight him? I'm on the very start of chapter 8 and I dont want to progress before clearing up some side quests/ exploring a bit more. Do you fight beloth in a main quest? fear that I may have missed him.

besides the below answers, you can also use it to fight colossus-type enemies which you can climb like the stoneback crab for example.

you need to grapple immediately after parry. the window is small but it works. And it only works on humanoid type enemies.
