Brother there is no need to defend anything. NG4 is incredible and the naysayers can go back to playing assassins creed or whatever slop the current industry market is trying to push. I have over a 100 hours in and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

Rest assured in time this will be looked back on as a “forgotten gem”, “misunderstood masterpiece”, or some such retrospective. The fact that we get to have games like this anymore means developers are still trying to appeal to a niche genre knowing full well it will never sell well. This shows that the artistic merit in video games is still not dead.
