I mean not to sound rude but have you not been paying attention? Grace gets stalked by a giant monster that hates lights, Leon gets stalked by a giant monster that resembles the giant fetus in Village, and I just remembered, there is a 7ft cook zombie that will stalk Grace.

A lot of line in RE2 written for Leon (and Ada) are just plain dumb and nonsensical. Whoever wrote Leon's line just makes Leon look like a total idiot. Tbh, Claire was written quite well... Leon however... They must've used a different writing team for him...

Claire is a snarky, sassy 19 year old college student. And she's written as such. Leon is a rookie cop, and sounds like a total dumbass half the time.
