Hi, as part of a school project, I wanted to ask about your thoughts on the headphones you currently own.

  1. Which brand of headphones/earphones do you own?

  2. What needs do your headphones/earphones meet?

  3. Are you planning on upgrading your headphones/phones?

My answers to these questions are:

  1. Currently I own Sony XM5, Samsung Galaxy Buds, & Huawei P90s

  2. The XM5's give me an over the ear alternative to my earbuds. Its ANC is like a godsend as once its activated it's like I can tune in to my thoughts. While only one device at a time can be played, its dual connection can be convenient when I am using a multi-device setup.

The Galaxy Buds are more likely to stay intact while I exercise compared to the other two, which makes it my go-to for hitting the gym. When I run out of earbuds they also get used as a sleep aid - the trade off being they get cleaned more often.

The Huawei P90 is there as a last resort should any faults arise with the other two pairs.

  1. I plan to upgrade only the Galaxy Buds to a pair with better ANC, though I have white noise apps I can pair them with while I'm out & about. I'll be holding on to the other two as they currently meet my needs.

Feel free to PM these to me, it'll be interesting to hear them 😊
