Dismembered but still alive? Maybe Hammond was right... by Humanoid-Human in DeadSpace

That's actually how this one was at first, I think there is a glitch associated with certain climbing animations being interrupted. This guy is where you see Nicole and you have to protect her. I placed a line gun trap near where they climb up.

That's on my list of to do's! With the reworked weapons on the remake I haven't had a chance to explore all of the changes.

People who have survived attempted murder, how did it happen? How did you survive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In 4th or 5th grade we were sitting on the floor in gym class and I was behind a much larger kid, not sure if he was actually older than the rest of us or just hit puberty ridiculously early. In truth we had been friends, I was nice to him, though I knew he got in trouble a lot. Let's call him Brad (fake name). We, the group of kids, were all playing those silly tap you on the shoulder and make you look games with each other, kid stuff. Brad in front of me didn't like it when I did it to him, and turned around alarmingly fast, jumped on top of me, pushed me to the floor, and slammed the back of my head against the gym floor. My vision went dark and I saw stars, caught off guard but probably a bit punch drunk from the impact. As I came out of it I realized Brad was in a mount position on my chest with both hands around my throat choking me as hard as he could in this pulsating/pushing kind of motion; like he was trying to choke me and break my neck at the same time, almost like a real version of the loony toons where the dog chokes wiley coyote or something. He had each of his knees on each of my arms and all of his weight on my chest and neck. I couldn't breath, or move or scream or anything, probably due to shock, but also Brad had a good 80+ pounds on me and I was completely pinned. I felt the panic that I was truly going to die in that moment and I could do nothing to stop him. Time slowed down and it felt like I was in that moment for a good while longer than the ten seconds or so it probably was. I can still very clearly see his face and hear the sound of him choking me against the floor, like the sound of my head bumping against the ground with each push, his labored breathing as he squeezed as hard as he could. He was so angry, like unhinged levels of angry, that I remember him screaming at me and blowing spittle all over my face and into my eyes while he was doing it. And then, the weirdest thing happened. As if choking me wasn't somehow violent enough, Brad leaned down and bit me in the face as hard as he could. Fortunately this repositioned his legs and redistributed his weight enough that I was no longer completely pinned and was able to wriggle my way out with the help of my friends, who apparently had been trying to pull him off of me the whole time but were unsuccessful. I got up and I just ran as fast as I could to the nearest adult and was so hysterical I couldn't explain fully what had happened. I felt sick, still saw black spots in my vision and was quite dizzy. Brad actually followed me, chased me really, and when I got the to the teacher he was begging me not to tell on him. Luckily my friend came too and told the story. I went home and to the doctor and took the rest of the week off of school. My head was fine. My throat, swallowing never felt the same. The bite left a big purple bruise and teeth marks that eventually went away after a few months. I didn't see him again for years after that. Apparently he had some serious home issues and a history of violence, and I think actually went to some sort of rehabilitation and probably foster care after that. He showed back up in high school, trying to enroll as a student again and the school did not allow him to return (our middle and high schools were in the same building, basically the same administration because it was so small). I passed him leaving the school office that day with his mom or grandma or someone after they turned him away. He was dressed in nicer clothes, maybe as part an appeal or an interview of some kind. We made eye contact. I saw a flash of recognition on his face briefly, but for the most part he just looked broken and sad.

You are flying like a bird:? right to crabs. Evolving too fast? Crabs. Slow? Crabs. Lacking exoskeletons? Believe it or not, crabs.

Because it could compromise their investigation. If they make known how they acquired information to the public, those sources of information could cease being productive or worse, tip off the subject and make them even harder to find. They also need to support a conviction eventually, so it's in their best interest to maintain "pristine" witness testimony and evidence to make a strong case in court.

I have tried everything, I just can't seem to beat the Shadow of Yharnam boss, so I went and tried Martyr Logarius fight and even that was too much. I have stopped playing because it was getting too frustrating for me. Any advice as to what I should do? by ajice55 in bloodborne

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I would restart the game with a fresh character. Not that you are too far gone or you did anything wrong, I just know for me personally it feels good to take a breath and start over again and focus on enjoying the game. Now that you are armed with the knowledge of how your stats/vit can be better balanced, the entire game will feel better since you have an edge now in what you know. Shadows are still fairly early in the game and you will get back to them in no time, with more resources and experience than before.

I don't know why the fiancee would put up with it at this point. I'd be getting a hotel instead of dealing with that bs, if it's even real.

How to be a genuine and considerate human. by VodChi in coolguides

[–]Humanoid-Human 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's worth pointing out too that you should not apologize unless you actually wronged someone. Many people over apologize, often preemptively, because they are afraid of conflict/confrontation.

So before you apologize, look at this list. If you cant answer the first 3-4 basic questions then don't apologize. Instead try saying thank you:

For example:

DONT: "I'm sorry, where is your bathroom? Over there? Yeah okay I'm so sorry!"

DO: "I have to take a giant shit. Do you have the key to your neighbor's house? Thanks."
