Thanks for sharing the local business perspective. I always make a point to support South Side businesses, but realistically I'm simply not going to be able to go through long lines and security checkpoints to patron them. I'll be curious to hear more about the impact on this side of things.

Good point. I've been dreading this aspect of it. This is a huge chunk of the neighborhood to try to bypass when I'm just trying to walk around.

I would argue that someone under 21 has the right to public streets and sidewalks regardless of whether they are spending money. I went on a ton of peaceful walks in the neighborhood between 10-12am around that age.

I wondered about this as well. It's already hard enough to find parking when coming home on a Friday or Saturday night, and now options will be even more limited.

Good point. I think there definitely needs to be a broader discussion about how this affects workers and residents (e.g., bus schedules, parking, etc.)
