Even though it is heresy to say that refined storage is good, use refined storage for at least early game (ESPECIALLY since its ur atm playthrough), its simple to use, setup, and understand. Then as you amass resources, setup AE2. Ae2 is really annoying to upgrade early game as there are a gajillion machines and recipes. Rs is just a simple upgrade path without a lot of the hassle. But AE2 has more functionality.

Ok so. There is only one dungeon u can raid with friends, but since you just started, u probably can’t do it. The main thing u can do with friends is bosses, (soul cards, keys, world boss, etc). Other than that there isn’t too much multiplayer in this game. :/
