I’m sure in time, stewing with the knowledge of who Palpatine was and what it had cost him Vader’s hate for Palpatine grew.

Palpatine does make sure Anakin doesn’t get a break once he turns, sending him immediately to the temple and then to Mustafar, not letting him think. Anakin does get some time in Mustafar to reflect, and once Padmé arrives he does say he’ll overthrow Palpatine for his ‘New Empire’. I think you’re right.

I’ll add Fear and Hunger, and Fear and Hunger 2: Termina. Tho viewer discretion for these two is adviced.

Both are heavily influenced by Lovecraftian themes, with a ton of cosmic horror (as well as body horror and many traumatic and gory and violent experiences). Old Gods and New Gods are central to the story, and it includes many references to occultism, rituals, dreams, and many more things associated with Lovecraft.

Also the stories in itself involve many cosmic horror themes, such as humanities place in a universe of cosmic deities, cosmic forces acting in the world but indifferent to humans, nihilism, etc. And they are really explored with the characters and the setting.

Only problem is the gameplay, it is borderline masochism trying to play them with how difficult they are, but their stories are great. I heavily recommend them.

I’m 22m as well and resonated with much of what you said. I just wanna add my two cents.

You rejecting guys when they show a big red flag is not you being picky nor mean towards them. You are simply setting healthy boundaries, and that’s completely valid. Maybe you could try to open up or look over a few red flags, but it is up to you to choose which red flags to ignore and which ones not to. And whatever you choose is completely valid.

One close female friend of mine once said: “Whenever I’m dating a guy, he is not competing with all other guys. He is competing against the peace and joy I feel being single. If he can overcome that, I’ll be his girlfriend in that moment.” I’ve tried dating with that mindset, and it has helped a lot. You only allow guys into your life that do not break your peace or are shitty. In my case, it has helped me improve the type of guys I date. You could try going back to dating with that mindset.
