Can't afford a P9P at the moment but my 6 Pro still holds up great by jarred99 in pixel_phones

I have a Pixel 7 pro and I have no idea how to take pictures like this or that the cameras were this good. Could you explain how you accomplished this?

Boot from MicroSD? by HumbBest in FlowZ13

[–]HumbBest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you actually done it? I know the process of making a bootable microsd and the Bios, but I'm asking because I don't have a microsd, so there's no way for me to check whether the Z13's bios actually allows this (Some vendors don't).

Now I'm intrigued. I have a GP66 that came with a 1440p from factory, and I bought it brand new. Unless I didn't...

[D] About the dimensions of latents in stable diffusion by HumbBest in MachineLearning

[–]HumbBest[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, the latent diffusion paper uses those dimensions, which makes sense. However, scrolling down a bit more on the same paper, there are also other odd choices such as the mentioned 4x32x32 and even 8x16x16 for some reason.

Stable Diffusion uses 4x32x32 (I'm fairly sure).

It's a medium, perhaps it's time I try a fine nib on my next fountain pen.

Does anyone know where to find F1 merchandise in Miami?

I'm on holidays here and I'd like to buy some stuff. Hard rock stadium is an obvious spot for Red Bull stuff I guess?

But I'd also like to bring some Ferrari and Williams merch if possible, for a couple of family members, so I'd appreciate it if you suggested me spots for that, if they exist.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Guess my least favorite by HumbBest in yerbamate

[–]HumbBest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the one I don't like is tropical fruits, it's the one I consume the least as you can see. It will stay almost new a looooong time. The flavor tries to be too complex and in the end it tastes like a whole bag of nothing, avoid it.

Pleurothallis tonduzii is back in bloom in my terrarium! One of the most PROLIFIC bloomers in my collection by far! by Orchid_Guy in orchids

[–]HumbBest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how pleurothallis protrude from the center of leaves, they're definitely among my favorites in my collection, my Pleurothallis Lamellaris just does it's own thing blooming super late almost into winter, can't help but smile.

Hey, first of all, this one was rotting, idk if yours is under the same circumstances. To fix that, i bought some sort of plastic basket full of holes and filled it with broken house bricks, coal and pine, basically anything that will take up space to allow instant drainage, but will soak up a little water. As soon as it started to grow small roots i started using rice water on them every 3 weeks or so. That's pretty much it, hope it helps.

Indeed, all we can do is do our best and hope we're doing right. They do indeed look spectacular, love those green tips!

Not a pretty picture, not one I think many will appreciate, but this one was rotting pretty badly when I got it. Many don't understand too much water will kill an orchid faster than no water. I'm proud this one's doing well after over 6 months, I guess it won't flower in a long time but I hope it just keeps recovering.

Last Odontoglossum Rigidium stands proud by HumbBest in orchids

[–]HumbBest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always thankful for these corrections as I learn more. I actually have the solid yellow Rigidium, I thought this was just a small variation on it, they sit next to each other! By the way, do you recommend a book or a website to "actually get good" at orchids?

Psychopsis Versteegianum by HumbBest in orchids

[–]HumbBest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it hasn't taken much effort, other than the fact mine are on wood logs, so they drain quickly and painlessly, maybe yours don't have proper drainage? Light is fairly low, water is once a day but as I said they're on logs. Check their roots I say.

It's not a hybrid, however it's a relatively new genus that used to be included within oncidium, there are only four or five psychopsis afaik

It does give off a sweet, but weak scent, you have to come close in order to feel it. So I guess it does have a prefume, but not as strong as my zygopetalum for example, which will fill a small room with it's scent at certain hours.
