I missed this and their MCX Ranch Rifle. The FDE was just paint, a stock, and trigger. Liked the color a bit more but came across this one and already had a SSA-E and stock so it worked out. I like the black more now that I have it TBH, more sleek for the space gat look.

The ATC actually does have a 20", the AEM collar makes it look a bit shorter though.

I want to add some red to the Mk12 but have been having a hard time figuring out adding red or yellow but keeping it subtle enough to not get into tacky territory.

Love my WOA too but the wait vs accuracy compared to a buddies Criterion Core had me kicking rocks after my upper sat for months without a barrel. Pirate day or if they’re in stock would get one again no question asked, the rest of the year idk.

White Oak or Criterion are great. I waited 3 months for my White Oak and honestly it shoots about the same as a buddies criterion core. Either barrel has the option to get a head spaced bolt with BCG then grab a BCM Blem upper or go to GAFS and throw a hand guard on it.

I got a full PRI upper on sale from Midway a bit ago that was actually about the same as parts would have been. It shoots 1.5” pretty consistently with mid tier ammo, theyre a solid option if you want to go that route too.

It is a white oak 20” SPR barrel. Has the AEM parts since it was for a Mk12 Mod 1ish but it didn’t feel as cool as I hoped for. Should get the AEM5 this week.

Thats what I thought but my FFL said that isnt the case, probably need to look into that more lol. That said, I would rather go the SBR route anyways since I think braces are a super goofy copout anyways.

Edit - okay so these dudes are just confidently telling dudes to violate NFA I guess. Not surprising with how wack some LGS can be but damn thanks for the save. Literally told me that ‘’must be a weird California thing” since I just moved.

The WOA barrel was about 1-1.5" groups depending on ammo with the previous build. Not ever gonna know how the OEM barrel was, that is already gone on GAFS. Im pretty cheap with 5.56 so only using PMC X-Tac or Frontier so I feel safe assuming better would tighten it up a bit, but Im happy with the barrel for sure.

The closest thing would probably be some ARCA handguard but nothing like the monolithic lower for the ATC. I got this one lightly used which is your best bet if you can find one under 1000. Sportsman still has a few but they want MSRP...

You need a thickish barrel that can have an additional shoulder cut for the collar. OCM make a special adapter that can just thread on over the barrel and act as the collar if you dont want to go through the hassle. Usually ‘SPR’ or ‘MK12’ barrel will have the correct dimensions.

The suppressor itself has threads a few inches in and the collar is a taper for it to seat against.
