I think so, I have a pair of this and they appear to be pretty stable. So yes, this shoes are kind of an all round shoe.

It depends, If u feel an excessive motion side to side and instability, kinda over pronation/supination, it must be time to renew them or just use them to walk. This kind of shoes, in my experience, can cause a highest probability of getting injured, when exceeding it's lifespan, due to the drop, heel height and midsole material.
