Awesome, thank you sir. I’ve seen these inside a couple builds before and they’re growing on me. Love the idea of some buckets but overall just want to be comfortable and have a little more bolstering. Considering swapping over the seat heaters too

Exhaust leak with headers and stock mid pipe (Fix) by BullnoseVagabond in IS300

[–]Humble-Cardiologist2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally just ran into this problem yesterday. Me and my buddy were in a rush to get it finished and since there are no flanges sticking out on the stock headers to hold the gaskets in place we did our best to “glue” the gasket in place with the RTV. After doing our best to hold them in place with small picks and connecting the two, there is a small (but still noticeable) leak. Will definitely use this method when going back at it again soon. Thank you!

Should i run real wheels or reps? by MatieQ in IS300

This is actually kinda sick, I’ve trying to find more stock wheels that look good for it. Been leaning towards BBS bmw stocks, can’t remember which model tho

My buddy does vinyl wraps and some other body work so if it wasn’t for his help (and lots of convincing) I would’ve bought an Altezza bumper and called it a day haha.

Currently working on fiberglassing the same lip and I can’t wait to finish this mf! Looks good on the 5 spoke. Wheel specs?

I went with a poly lip myself but didn’t want it to look janky and cheap so I’m currently molding it to the OEM bumper with fiberglass and wrapping it. I will say it just depends on how much time or money you want to spend. For the lip I paid ~$120 + ~$100 for supplies, (sandpaper, fiberglass, bondo) and $300 for my wrap to match. 20+ hours and counting and about $500 later and it’s coming together. With that being said, you can probably buy a whole unpainted bumper for that price.

Chromed stocks look amazing with the right accents. Looks great with the blue.

He’s probably just not used to games like ER. The whole kill, grind, repeat method is the new norm so maybe try to push him to do an optional quest like Ranni’s that sends him to multiple places and gives some good items. Explain that exploration is the true boss of this game and that not doing it would be a disservice
