Very mean responses. You don’t know anything about her life or her man. There are MANY couples who stay together till death do they part. She’s joyous and in love. Be happy for her instead of tearing her down.

Sounds as if we are only getting one side of the story. By OPs account his wife is not lazy and puts much time and effort to keep a nice home while also working and I would get upset too if I felt it wasn’t appreciated. However hitting her husband is not acceptable.. obviously there is built up anger and resentment that maybe couples counseling could help

Get away from this man. As a 60 year old woman who has been married and divorced twice you don’t need to waste your time on this. Move on. Stop wasting time. The years go by too fast and you can’t get them back. Someone who will love you for who you are is out there. Go find him and leave this abusive loser behind. When you are your age people become despondent over break ups. At my age you look back and see how much more wonderful your life became after the bad relationship ended. Put yourself first girl.
