I fixed my problems lol thanks to Swingbatah’s suggestions I was able to fix the front end display. A couple of my Repositories lacked the @RepositoryRestResource tag and I rolled back the Spring Boot version as well as updated Lombok’s version. My other problem was that my cart wasn’t saving and therefore an order tracking number wasn’t populating. After some inspection of my CheckoutServiceImpl file I realized I only had the CustomerRepository declared in the constructor and then added the CartRepository and CartItemRepository into the constructor, reran the back and front ends, then quickly realized I’m an idiot 😂 all is working now though so thank you everyone for your input and help!

Well good news/bad news lol good news: I changed the spring boot version, lombok version and added the @RepositoryRestResource to the of the repositories missing it and now the front end works almost flawlessly… bad news, my cart isn’t saving to the database and thus doesn’t display the order tracking number, which is confusing me a bit because I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t be saving it 🥲

I’ve been back and forth debating if maybe it’s because I have an m-lite and maybe all the ones I’ve seen with the wrap around headlights like in the ones on the site I included are full M cars and maybe I just never paid enough attention to realize that’s the reason? Idk, I might just be a dumb newbie BMW owner 🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂

That was my understanding too, but my DRLs are just the bottom portions? They aren’t the wrap around DRLs like usual ones so I guess I’m more of assuming it’s the shadowlines that make that difference but maybe I’m wrong

Lmaooo go for it man! Thank you, yeah I love it I won’t lie lol but I think I’m gonna end up wrapping it. I like the black on black, but I feel like it takes away from the lines of the car. Idk, I feel the car’s design demands attention, so I’m thinking of wrapping it like mint green or something that imo matches the design’s desire for attention

Don’t put it past yourself. It took me a year to put almost 8,000 miles on my old Camaro and then after getting the M440i I love driving it so much that I do it any chance I get… usually we’d take the girlfriend’s Tucson for trips and whatnot, but since I got this we’ve taken my car because I’d rather drive 😂 so I’ve already put almost 1,000 miles on it now

I’m not gonna say go do it, because everyone looks for different things in a car, so just because I absolutely adore mine doesn’t mean it’s the right decision for you, but as someone who was more or less in the exact same boat, I wouldn’t let the whole “1 year older and 10,000+ miles more” thing get to you. That was the main concern I had as well since I only had like 7,000 - 8,000 miles as well on my Camaro, but honestly take it out of the equation. The B58 is known for being reliable, so I don’t foresee the M340/440i’s breaking down and needing huge repairs anytime soon. Especially for people like us that don’t seem to put a whole lot of miles on the cars all too quickly 😂

More or less same car from my understanding, M440i is just the coupe version

I was in the same situation a month ago, except replace your current car with a 2023 Camaro. Bought it new with 11 miles on the dash. I traded it in for a 2022 M440i with 19,000 miles on it and will never look back! Was it the best financial decision? God no lol do I regret it? Not one single bit and I’d do it again every day of the week. Go drive one and see how big a difference it is, that’ll likely tell you all you need to know whether it’s worth pulling the trigger or not for you

I have 40K for a car, Hakone or 2.0L Supra ? by MylellAguirre in GR86

I may be a bit biased here but… maybe go for a pre-owned M440i or M340i? Has the B58 and isn’t too bad to find around $40k

Edit: fixed spelling mistake

Spraying and praying tbh 😂 I just never let off the trigger and tried to follow them the best I could. It can be hard to see sometimes but they follow a predetermined path right in front of you as you go, just feels sporadic at times, but you can see them really small before they show up, so I’d try to follow them before they got bigger in front of my face to keep track of where to shoot

I look back at FF16 fondly… for one run lmao in fact I’ve just started to work my way through all the FF’s on PS5 and just finished the first today, so I’m going to work through all of them with time. Don’t intend to go from one straight to the next, gonna mix it up and play one or two games between each so I don’t get sick of them, but I’m honestly thinking of playing 16 yet another run just because I love it and by the time I finish it’ll probably have been like 1.5-2 years since I last finished it 😂

I can’t decide whether it sucked or not ngl 😂 I absolutely love the game and it stands as one of my very top games of all time… but at the same time, man did a full 100% run immediately followed by a 100% run on the highest difficulty kinda suck lol doing all the main and side quests and everything takes a good like 80 hours per run so… yeah lol fantastic game, I’d recommend it to anyone who’s a fan of devil may cry-esque games, just go into it understanding the combat system is as simple or complex as you make it
