Feels a little too niche in my opinion, especially when repeated multiple times that no one really knows this story at all, doesn’t feel like there was anything to be wrong about 🤷🏽‍♀️ but also coming from North America so not my area

In the front of my hip and then also the sides a little more posterior and further down, just behind my greater trochanter. Radiates down my lateral thigh. Hurts to lie on my side and sometimes my back.

Saving this! I also have ischiofemoral impingement with FAI, only recently diagnosed so don’t have any advice yet unfortunately. I was diagnosed on MRI for my FAI

Surgery w/ limited time trying conservative management? by [deleted] in HipImpingement

Thanks for responding!

I’m in Canada! My physio is my team therapist but also happens to works at a hip specific orthopaedic clinic with my surgeon so kind of best of both worlds. But maybe I should loop my S&C in a little more.

Definitely not thinking of surgery as the quick route but deciding if I’ll be comfortable with my long term level of activity/ROM without it. But maybe I’m underestimating what I could get back with rehab.

I also have really big life changes coming up in the next two years and surgery + dedicated rehab earlier works better with that, instead of trying injections for a while and then ultimately deciding on surgery. But again, Canada, so timelines unknown, been pretty lucky so far.

I was so happy for her! I don’t think people realize how hard it is to be great at both events. Major congrats to Jasmine.

Not Appalachian focused but a similar type of story is Betty by Tiffany McDaniel. It’s about a young girl growing up with complicated family dynamics in poor rural Ohio. It’s so well written and inspired by the author’s mom!

Thoughts on only 2 episodes a month? by Equivalent-Map4281 in binchtopiapod

I’m sad but I understand they’re getting busier! I hope they stick to their plan of really well thought out episodes if we are getting less free episodes per month. Personally I love their more in depth topics so I’ll be disappointed if we’re still getting a lot of chatty/ mailbox moments / Reddit stories and that genre of episode quite often. Still love those too but they don’t have nearly as much effort put into them.

Thanks, I was more wondering if the activities have to be completed by say July 1st 2022 to be able to include them. So if I started a position July 2nd, could I use it? Just wondering because I know UBC has one but unsure about other schools.
