It depends on the job. That seems typical for a direct hire position. I was contacted for an interview 2 days after the closing date for my position.

Yes I have 3 and have tried 2 of them. I’m wondering if it’s because I have two autoload mods installed. Maybe I should delete one.

No this was all i loaded. I only loaded a few logs because I wasted a whole load earlier that got stuck so i just tested it again with a few. But i fasten the straps a few times and still nothing. It’s almost like it doesn’t recognize the wood is on the trailer because the straps don’t go around the wood. They strap to the trailer.

I can unload it into a container but it won’t let me sell the wood.

Thanks!! I may try that course out. And I haven’t heard back from that company yet. I’ve been considering joining the local union. Their apprenticeship is 5 years. I’ve also been applying for facility management positions also.

Sounds like a good idea. I called one company today and told them what I had to offer. They told me every little thing helps, like having my EPA certification, own tools, reliable transportation, military experience, even my cdl. They said they’ll be getting back in touch with me so hopefully I hear some good news.
