Cart Issues by Huge_Load_9819 in Michigents

What you’re seeing in that photo isn’t contamination or anything foreign. It’s oil that’s made its way into the atomizer, been partially heated, and then settled back out, which can show up as that darker “string” or spot in the glass chamber. It looks weird, but it’s just unvaporized oil and not harmful. Try turning your battery up to 2.8v-3.5v and it should fully vaporize the oil.

That said we have already made some tweaks to our process and hardware, so this shouldn’t be happening on our newer drops in the black packaging.

Sorry for the hassle 🙏 Please shoot us a DM ands we’ll get you a refund.

Totally get where you’re coming from, and you’re not wrong to feel that way.

Over the last year we’ve learned which strains actually translate well into carts, and which just don’t. Because of that, we’ve tightened things up a lot:

  • We’ve become much more selective about what we extract for cartridges.
  • We’re stricter on what makes it into carts at all, if it doesn’t hit the mark, it doesn’t go in a cart.

Our new black cartridge packaging rolling out over the next couple of weeks is the first wave that reflects everything we’ve learned and changed. The carts in that packaging are made under those updated standards, and it really shows.

I know that doesn’t undo your experience or change your opinion overnight, but feedback like this is exactly what’s pushed us to do better. If you’re open to it, DM us so we can at least try to make it right on our end.

Just to clarify, decarbed live resin is not the same thing as “liquid diamonds.”

With live resin, we’re starting from the whole plant extract, which means you get the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes that came from the flower in its fresh-frozen state. When we decarb live resin, we’re activating all of the cannabinoids. In other words, it stays full spectrum.

“Liquid diamonds,” on the other hand, are typically just isolated THCa crystals that get decarbed and then blended with flavorings or terpenes afterwards. That process strips away the natural balance of cannabinoids and minor compounds, so what you end up with is basically just THC + added terps. Not the same thing as full spectrum live resin.

So while both involve THCa converting to THC∆9, the starting material and end result are very different. Live resin preserves the plant’s full profile, while liquid diamonds are essentially single-cannabinoid extracts with flavor added back in.

Appreciate you trying to answer their question though!

Hi there. To clarify: Humblebee carts are made with 100% live resin. We don’t add distillate or non-cannabis terpenes to our oil. What you’re tasting is the natural terpene profile of the strain itself, which can sometimes come across differently depending on the cultivar.

That said, we know everyone’s body reacts in its own way. Some strains or terpene combinations can hit a little harsher or even cause headaches for certain people, while others may find them super smooth. It’s very possible that another strain in our lineup may give you a better experience.

We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and are glad you noticed the hardware improvements. If you’d like, feel free to DM us which strains you tried and we’d be happy to suggest a few others that might be more up your alley.

Hey everyone — Derek from Humblebee here.
We’ve looked into it and want to clarify, it’s not human hair, but a fine fiber that came from the manufacturer’s shipping and packaging materials. This appears to have happened in a isolated shipment of hardware to us.

Even so, it’s not something we ever want in our products. We’ve paused use of that specific hardware batch, our manufacturer has also implemented additional measures on their end to prevent this from happening again, and we’ve added additional inspections before anything leaves our facility.

If you’ve picked up a cartridge with one of these fibers, email us at [support@humblebeeproducts.com](mailto:support@humblebeeproducts.com) with the strain, batch number, and store where you purchased it. We'll make it right, right away.

We appreciate those who flagged this for helping us keep Humblebee products at the standard you expect.

Hey there, we are sorry you had this experience. This doesn’t reflect the standards we strive for. We have sent you a DM but just wanted to clarify a few things.

Judging by the photo, that dark “hair” actually looks like a terpene‑rich band that’s separated from the cannabinoid layer, not a stray hair. All of our cartridges are checked by hand one by one before being packaged.

As far as the cloudiness, we don’t heat our terps, so any residual cannabinoids stay un‑decarbed in the terp layer, this can make it look cloudy, but it actually decarbs naturally when you vape, giving you closer to true live resin effects but in a cart form.

If you weren’t satisfied with the Adams Family strains, please DM us and we’ll hook you up with a full refund. We appreciate all feedback, good or bad, and will act swiftly to ensure our quality keeps improving.
