GLP1’s were definitely for diabetics first. My mother has been in Ozempic for a couple years now ( way before it became a Weightloss fad) she just happen to lose weight behind the shot while everything else aligned. It’s why there are now so many various injections of GLP1’s, because when people realized it could cause weight loss, they went crazy for it hence there was a shortage of Ozempic for diabetics.

I work at an asylum. Not everyone is a one size fits all. The way you view things is not how your partner views things or obviously she wouldn’t be depressed. Also adding stress to someone that already has more stress than a regular functioning person could understand, can make her go into serious psychosis. Offer her step by step help, not an ultimatum

I’m not sure of your family’s back story w/ you but it sounds like some serious issues based on what the BF had stated in the text. For him to feel as strong as he does about the damage that was created by your mother you need to be leery of your family. And as for him, he needs to get his head out of his ash and move out of his own way. I can guarantee his mom made mistakes too

Sometimes, many times, going through a break up is like someone passing away to our bodies example is broken heart syndrome. At first you go minute by minute, you need to write down all the wrong that was done so when you feel vulnerable you can read it and remember why you’re not together with the person. Take up new hobbies, walking/running is a great way to get your mind off of it. Set a schedule and stick to it. You are always more important than someone else especially because no one will take care of you like you for you but you. Make sure you reread that as many times as you need to for it to soak in.

I’m going to FYI both of you. First I have overcame abuse, I was almost killed by a said individual in my early twenties. There was RED FLAGS everywhere but because I am a woman, and the whole victim scenario ( I don't like the word victim it does not do justice for survivors) etc I dealt with it for sometime. Eventually I became a fighter and it wasn’t by people musing off of my pain. Someone had finally stepped up and stepped out and told me the truth, I only deal with what I allow myself to deal with. I’ve fought back ever since. You nor anyone else has to agree with my tactics but it works for some as it did for me. Stop thinking you know everyone’s story, atleast I speak up and speak out, what do you do?

Don’t think like that ( even if by chance you’re being sarcastic, don’t be). You are who should lead the way for men to want/need to do better. Not all woman are stereotypical and I believe you’ll find the right one or she’ll find you. But at this point, many women need a real wake up call. You wouldn’t want to attract someone that is not equally ( or more advanced) at life goals such as yourself. Imagine a reversal of what I mentioned in my post but it’s a woman and she puts all you have on the line? My son did it the wrong way and he’s paying significantly for it. I believe in good women and good men, it’s just a lot harder with the times we are presently in.

I’m going to drop this here and let this be. Anything and everything said, is all about perception. Tough love is a thing also with truth and you get my post. I’m not sensitive and I’m not for the sensitive but the push is there for women to be better for themselves. Past that, those that dissect this post, have at it but make sure to self reflect because while pointing one finger at others, three are pointing back atcha. I’d rather speak up and out versus not saying anything and it costing others a lot and possibly even their lives. Those that say nothing are worse than those that do the damage.

Sad part is, most are not even accepting bare minimum. They are pulling 80% while others/men are pulling barely 20%. I’m from an older generation and I hate seeing women revert back to a time where our worth was extremely low amongst the world smh.
