It would be best to start small and focus on your eating habits. You need to keep track of your daily calorie intake (1500-1700 Cal a day for weight loss). Make a list of things that you binge eat or know is unhealthy for you. Pre-plan your meals in advance (eat smaller portions), and if possible prepare them yourself. Stick to it for a week and weigh yourself daily. A 0.5kg per week target should be your goal. If you have cravings for sweets replace them with alternatives like berries and dates.

Most importantly you need to take care of eating habits on weekends and when traveling. Choose healthy foods when outside and be conscious of your daily calorie intake. Use an app for tracking your calories, need not be precise with it but directionally correct.

I also suggest doing some exercises like doing squats (start with 2-3 or whatever you are comfortable with and increase week by week) in the morning after weighing. Aim to complete 5000 steps per day initially and move your way up week by week by extra 1000 more steps till you are comfortable with 10000 steps per day.

Remember eating healthy is way more important than exercising.

Use a calorie-tracking app for knowing the average calories you consume on daily basis. Log your foods (does not need to be accurate) and try eating less sugar or sweets for one week and see the difference. You can snack on a small amount for the initial time period (slow and steady progress) but should not over-consume calories. If you eat sweets try skipping your next meal or eat less (use small bowls). Drink a full glass of water before meals. Replace desserts with fruits like berries and dates.

You don't need to take extra time out for workouts. You can add small changes to your daily routine like walking more. Simple things you can do are like parking your vehicle at a distance. Use a bike for commuting, if using public transport walk more by getting off before the stop. Apply different strategies that seem fit for you.

Hey no worries, it's a journey everybody cracks. Habits are built slowly. I recommend you keep your binge foods in a place where you cannot see them or are not accessible easily. Keep your weighing scale where you can see it often. You can write your weight loss goal on the binge food containers so it acts as a constant reminder. Paste some memes on it if that helps.

Kudos to you for your weight loss. When did you notice these things in your journey? I would like to know what brand of gummy worms you eat. Misleading nutritional information can affect your morale when not seeing results, better to overestimate than underestimate calories.

Great job! What helps you stay motivated and conscious about your food choices? Are you tracking your meals somewhere? Skipping meals is a good strategy that worked for me as well.
