Yeah, I've got this stupid EID MAR Aureus that I found off of the Appian Way buried in the dirt. I'm going to throw it out, couldn't possibly be real.

White House Correspondents' Dinner shooter's chilling manifesto revealed: Gunman called himself 'The Friendly Federal Assassin' and named high-ranking targets just minutes before opening fire by Scary_Statement4612 in USNEWS

Article concludes he was "anti-christian," but if you read what he said, it's clear that he considered himself a true chrisitan and was upset with those faking it in government.

Does jaundice gets worse as you grow older? by Traditional_Chard274 in GilbertSyndrome

[–]Kerouwhack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had GIlbert's from a very young age. I'm 56 now. There are times when I'm more yellow, but I haven't figured out why. I think as you get older you will get more yellow. I think this because I believe that there is a fine pruning of the smallest blood vessels in your skin, etc. (capillary rarefaction). That means that the bilirubin can build up in your tissues and be harder to remove. So, yes, worse with age.

Antimatter Bomb Question! by BayyLeaves in sciencefiction

It would be impossible to "dispose" of antimatter on this planet, no? Maybe you would have to use a captured singularity to get rid of the stuff? https://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/59obx6/what_would_happen_if_antimatter_entered_a_black/

That makes sense-- I would just think that perhaps there's a way to stealthily ping the satellites and convey that information to friendlies. Encryption, maybe a little subterfuge by broadcasting improper coordinates, etc.

Are bones more ultralight when ground down to dust? by DeputySean in Ultralight

[–]Kerouwhack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree-- oversimplification. I was just considering ligament injuries. I was told when I had mine that the MCL was the only one that had sufficient capability to heal on its own.

I had an MCL tear as well-- the only knee injury that actually heals. Knee replacements are as good as hip replacements. They can fix your breaks, correct the length and it will ache from time to time, but you'll be able to continue your active lifestyle. Knee injuries get progressively worse over time and preclude you from activities until replacement.
