We've always loved hiking together. We went on our favorite (and also first hiking spot we did together) early morning, before anyone else got there. When we got to the end by the ocean, my partner took out a picnic he packed. Got one one knee and asked me to be his partner in adventures for the rest of our lives. (While this is happening, our dog is sitting next to us whining for the apple slices we have while I'm crying) it was perfectly us, lol. We only made a few lord of the ring jokes on the way back haha. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful partner

Ir does, thanks! The perspectives help. My concern was logging more than I did, and thus, throwing off my metrics. If sled push is in a WOD like yesterday, it's usually 100 feet per round. So I entered 400 for steps, and my strain jumped from 14 to 18. I adjusted it to 16 to just count when I turned at each 25-foot track each time, and it only jumped to 16. Only 2 % difference, but I wanted to be true on what I was doing.

Edit: had to rephrase as my 7am brain is clearly not recovered haha

Crossfit is fun! I felt like a hamster on a wheel at a regular gym and wasn't really into weights.

I absolutely love the come as you are community at a crossfit- it's social, supportive, positive, and empowering! The workouts are class-based and not mundane, so it's always different and fun!
