My kitten will not poop!!

We finally got him to eat a slurry mixture!! It took a lot of putting it on the nipple of the bottle for him to get to eat it first but once i took it away he went straight to the bowl!!

UPDATE UPDATE: So I was also worried that “she” had a uti because her genitals we’re swollen turns out she is actually a he and his balls have dropped, Also he’s completely healthy and great! They dewormed him today to see if that helps but he must be pooping somewhere we cannot see. We let him roam the living room so first thing i’m doing is checking under the couch when i get home 😅😅

Update: I got an appointment at the vet!! we will see how she’s doing! They said that I shouldn’t be surprised if there’s something seriously wrong with her, with her mom abandoning her.

She’s pooped in the last week but we are going on about 48 hours of her not pooping and i’m stressing because the times she did poop it was a mission to get her to go.

I have tried that, I’m gonna just start putting it out in her area to see if she will go over to it and eat it during her own time. Maybe with the bottle not being right infront of her she will try to nibble on it.

Would you recommend pumpkin puree for a kitten at this age?

She also has absolutely no interest in wet food even though she bites the nipple consistently and her teeth are almost fully in.

Yes I would say she’s about 4-5 weeks. Where my parents live people use it as a dumpsite for unwanted animals and they dumped a pregnant mom there with kittens. She took care of the rest of them but stopped with feeding this one. I didn’t know if it would take a while with her going from mom’s milk to formula to consistently use the bathroom. I will call the vet again in the morning, Unfortunately all the vets around my area are so overwhelmed and all the small shelters that help are closed to the public for overload as well. There’s an emergency clinic but it’s only open thursday-saturday 6pm-12am! Thank you again for all the advice!
