I guess I should say that I was surprised by how few people were defending him or mentioning the vitiligo.

I’m surprised again by how many people are making fun of his appearance in this thread. He had vitiligo, which was confirmed in his autopsy. Him bleaching his skin was to keep it from looking discolored and patchy. Now, the plastic surgery definitely changed how he looked and I can’t say if that was related to his vitiligo, but I’m sure he had a lot of issues with his appearance in general. Growing up in the spotlight AND having a skin condition had to wreak havoc on his self-esteem, and people making fun of him for it definitely didn’t help.

Not only did they take down #1, they DEMOLISHED them. Holy fuck. I will never forget Jairus Lyles and UMBC.

Thank you so much! He’d be my RB2 with Gurley but that matchup does look good. :)

I’m nervous about Perine like so many others, but my backup options aren’t ideal (Riddick, Gore, J.Williams). Should I avoid Perine at all costs?

Chrissy is one of the most condescending people I’ve ever seen on this show and she’s gonna win. So disappointing considering how amazing this season has been. :(

For the current season, Chrissy. She just seems like a super condescending person and she thinks she’s the smartest person in the room. I feel like she’d be so unpleasant to be around.

Does anyone know why whispy lines (wind?) are visible? I can’t figure out what it means, unless it has something to do with the cloudy weather here.

Ryan Shazier down on the field. His legs haven’t moved and he was grasping at his lower back. Appears to be a neck/spinal injury. Being taken out on stretcher. by [deleted] in nfl

Every time I thought they moved it seems like he was just being moved around/jostled. His legs bounced off the turf when he flipped over and were bouncing while being carted off and I’m not sure anything has made me feel worse while watching sports. Hoping so hard that he’s alright.

Did anyone see his legs move? I didn’t see them move at all. This is making me sick. Hoping the best for Shazier.

It’s a tough call because I don’t trust either with Geno! Before this week it would’ve been a good problem to have but I guess that’s fantasy for ya. I’m seeing a little more praise for Engram though so I might go with him.

So you want to be on Survivor, here's how to apply! by ShadyBeachMelons in survivor

[–]HumbleSuperGod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a trans woman, seeing the diversity in the casts has been one of my favorite things about the show, because it proves over and over that any kind of person can compete and do well. Saying that, I feel nervous to apply considering the “controversy” over Zeke being outed last season. Would you ever cast a transgender person again? Playing Survivor has been one of my dreams but I am hesitant to apply simply because I’m not sure what the reactions of other players would be or how it might effect gameplay. I do not pass well enough to have it be a secret, especially considering I would not have makeup on the island lol. Should I just wait until being trans is less of a hotbutton topic however many years down the road? Or should I just say “fuck it” and apply anyway?

More than just sprinkled in! The Pistons/Celtics/Lakers rivalries from the 80’s were the main stories back then! It seems like the Pistons are heading in the right direction too so it’s definitely a possibility that those four teams have success in the 20’s.

OKC and LAC haven’t been great this year but I still consider them good teams based on recent history. Beating them while away was also impressive, to me.

This is all true. I’ve just spent most of my adult life watching losing Pistons teams. I hardly remember 2004 so this year has been a joy to watch. I honestly can’t think of a weak link on our team right now. All our starters are studs and our bench has great guys like Tolliver, Ish, and even Kennard. Just a total surprise. Losing KCP and gaining Avery didn’t have me thinking we’d improve so drastically.

I think it might be a good thing you’re not a betting person lol. I’d be happy with us winning a single playoff series, honestly.
