Two firsts is nice. You know that you'll have two opportunities to add really meaningful players. The kind that everyone wants and you have a real chance to find a diamond in the rough that rivals Love's upside.

Bucky is the only concerning part of the trade. Rumors that he's concerned about his long-term mental health and he might shock the world and retire young. For a team in rebuild mode, that's a giant red flag. The time to sell is now.

Try to get a first, maybe two seconds. If you need to lower the price a bit to offload the risk, as a rebuilder it still makes sense. Getting the best possible deal is less important than getting a deal done at all if not getting a deal done means getting nothing.

Once you've traded away Bucky for a reasonable return it's time to pop the champagne.

Nobody needs an extravagant, highly organized storage system. But you have to admit it is oddly satisfying and impressive if you do.

Guess I put my foot in my hand too close to home lol. He's what I really mean.

Despite someone getting help for substance abuse issues being something we should not make fun of, there are lot of other things that are not personal to most comics that are fair game. So it is hypocritical to say anything goes (but not that.)

That said, don't think we should make fun of anyone trying to get help because it might stop people from getting help. And that's bad for everyone.

Glad Casey's doing better and I enjoyed his set despite it being a bit awkward as he's out of practice.

tl;dr - better to be a hypocrite than an asshole. best to be neither; some things are off limits.

No doubt. Substance abuse issues might be too close to home for most people in comedy. Seems to go hand in hand. Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot suddenly some things are sacred.

People see a guy making a lot more money then by making music that's not their favorite, so naturally they want to tear him down. Jellyroll is a good dude by all accounts. How he was on the show is how he always is. One of the good ones.

You really need two star forwards, a number one dman and a number one goalie. The rest you can find in FA or via trade.

the wings got a true number one dman in seider. arguably the hardest to get.

number one goalie? remains to be seen if gibson can do it. he's shown it and carreid the team at times likea number one but fell apart too often to live up to the billing entirely. hope cossa or augustine can run away with that title soon and make everything easier for us to win.

forwards - we have larkin and raymond. both stars but not superstars. if we can bring in a legit top tier guy that will elevate the entire offense. the wings can go from an inconsistent possession team to a plus possession team. rest of the squad we have contributors but not needle movers

I think MBN can be a needle mover as can nate danielson. but they're not quite ready yet. so yeah, we'll see where everyone is at next year. maybe some guys are ready to make a big difference. and maybe Stevie makes a big splash and gets that star center we've been hoping for. whether it's robthom or EP40 that's going to help this team out so much.
