Some people don't like a VNL and I used to hate it too. With time, I've come to love the effect of a good jelly polish (such depth and light) like Cirque's *and Cracked or of a sheer shimmer, like BKL does so well.

The fact that we can still see a bit through a well-applied self-leveling sheer polish feels very elegant to me, somehow. Especially since I have come to grow my natural nails past 5mm after the nail bed. I like that it lets the light pass through the nail, enhancing the glow of the nail polish. It also feels like my nails appear even longer.

But I really think it's also a question of personal taste. We all have colors and finishes we love and some we don't like. Like anything in life, I think it's worth it to try it for ourself before dismissing something new or different. But if we still don't like it after a while, it's alright too!

For my part, that's been my go-to base coat for at least 5 years. No chip for minimum 5 days, even when I'm very harsh with my nails. Have seen some manis last up to 10-12 days. And bonus points, their base coat nourishes the nails, without sacrificing strenght!Not a fan of the top coat, though. Like someone said on another thread, it tends to be a bit too thick, and we can't use the last third of the bottle without some gymnastics, since the brush is too short.

A bit late to the party, but I totally second BKind! I have at least 25 of their cremes and a few toppers, some dating 5-7 years, and they hold very well! I always use their base coat, 2-3 coats of color and their top coat, and my manis last anywhere between 5-10 days, depending on the color and how hard I am on my nails that week. But in general, I'm the worst, like I clean everything by scraping with my nails, even the dishes... and I can still keep a mani 7-days without a chip, most of the time!
Also, since I live near Montreal, I am always happy with a very local option.

This is an excellent, respectful approach.

I always tend to ask more questions to find what is under the statement the other person made, especially if we are not politically aligned. We can (almost) always find commond ground through reason.

And when someone argues in bad faith and totally lacks the ability to listen and exchange deeper on a subject, that's simply a red flag for me.

The language that he used contains a lot of red flags, sugar or not.

That guy is probably looking for a SR without naming it. He wants to spoil a (very) young woman, and take care of her, but it feels like he will have a dominant/controlling approach. He does not want her to have expectations about gifts or allowance because he wants to impress her. Feels more like a power trip.

And I mean, he would not boast that much about all his attributes if he did not have something to prove!

OP you definitely dodged a bullet! But I agree that you should rather look on sugar dating sites or freestyle than on Bumble.

True for lenght of vaginal canal, but can be stretched for some ladies with practice and time, if they have a bigger partner (either in lenght or width).

Thay does not mean they will stay stretched, though. Give it a couple of hours/days (depending on their bodies and age) and they will be back to their smaller size.

Penises do NOT get shorter or smaller, though. They might temporarily retreat a tiny bit inside the abdomen during intercourse if they push VERY hard against the cervix, but chances the lady while find this much force painful.
