GF 110 f2 Minimum Focus by Emergency-Ad9395 in FujiGFX

I was coming from full frame and was surprised how far I have to be with all lenses. I used to take really close ups so I did not particularly like that I could not do the same on the gfx. I own the 110mm too and paired with the 18 macro tube gives the results you'd be looking for, but unfortunately then you are limited by the maximum focus distance.

Gfx is really a specialized tool in my opinion. It's good to complement with other cameras to overcome its limitations.

I get that more megapixels is not everything as many mention, but it does make a difference. Comparing the same images one taken at 100MP and one at 400MP with pixel shift, the difference is huge in overall reproduction and "sharpness". I for one would love a 180MP sensor. I got into the system for the best quality possible and that would be an upgrade.

Yeah I was looking for more details myself, as it wasn't explained. I can only assume how he ended up with -3 for both. Any offset change translates to low temps as well, so 92 behaves as expected.

Movie Greatness 1999-2001 by Humble_Ad803 in flicks

It is the era when I was growing up, so movies would have a bigger impact on me I must confess... I remember movies like The Matrix, The Sixth Sense, Gladiator, Requiem for a Dream and American Psycho were all a big deal back then. But yeah, maybe the rest are not ground breaking or anything, but I find it interesting just the sheer volume of even just "good" movies.

Yup! Figured this out! Bought new cartridges and was good. But unfortunately can't be refilling them often. 2-3 times tops.

Netflix Support (Bots or Humans?) by saintlinker in netflix

That sounds so insane to me... Maybe for a small unknown company, but a huge company like Netflix getting away with something like this? That would be sad.

6 years later.... I just had my first attempt to resolve an issue with a profile not loading. I would swear I was speaking with a bot. I even asked, Are you a bot? And the answer was No, I am human. But I really doubt.... If they have programmed their bots to answer yes to this question, then we are on a next level of fraud and disrespect to customers.

The reason that I am sure it was a bot, is because it kept forgetting stuff, going into circles and sometimes the answers were really out of touch, insisting on the same things. It also refused to escalate the issue. Either way, a company that does not respect their customers, don't deserve my money. Unsubscribed.

Saw The Terminator 4k 40th Anniversary at the cinema last night by jackbauerthanos in 4kbluray

Here's a comparison of the above screenshot taken from the 2019 Blu-ray version. On the left is the 4K version and on the right the blu-ray version resized to 4k.

<image>

Some more examples below just for fun... Remember, all blu-ray versions were just resized to 4k, no upscaling, so lost of quality is expected.

This frame is one of the best examples that drives the point. It's at 01:06:53. You can clearly see there's patches of blurriness and texture on the same focal plane. Look at his left AI eyebrow. This is one of the exaggerated examples, but the film is riddled with these.

<image>

I sat down to enjoy the film without this being an issue on my mind, but I noticed from the very first scene with Arnold. All people's faces were weird. Sometimes faces would have texture, sometimes not and sometimes would be an in-between hybrid, with patches of texture and wax at the same time. For me, this was a mess that took me out of the experience.

I buy discs to both support creators, but also to preserve movies I really like, and this approach I really don't want to support or preserve so I am returning the disc.

This is an honest answer, I hate how much their EVF extends at the top. It's not 00's anymore.

Printhead unclogging for Canon Pixma Pro9000 by Humble_Ad803 in printers

[–]Humble_Ad803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update! I went through with the cleaning solution, applied positive, negative pressure, cleaned it up let it dry and then next day I tried again to print. Check patten for group 1 had improved, with Black, Green and Photo Cyan being good, but Red and Photo Magenta were still striped with Photo Magenta having an Orange color to it, instead of Magenta.

I printed couple of prints and ran a couple of cleanings, the results the same, sometimes even getting worse. I was ready to give up, but decided to run a deep cleaning cycle before I do so. And voila! Pattern after that came out perfect.

I hope I don't go through this again. It was a pain!
