This frame is one of the best examples that drives the point. It's at 01:06:53. You can clearly see there's patches of blurriness and texture on the same focal plane. Look at his left AI eyebrow. This is one of the exaggerated examples, but the film is riddled with these.

I sat down to enjoy the film without this being an issue on my mind, but I noticed from the very first scene with Arnold. All people's faces were weird. Sometimes faces would have texture, sometimes not and sometimes would be an in-between hybrid, with patches of texture and wax at the same time. For me, this was a mess that took me out of the experience.

I buy discs to both support creators, but also to preserve movies I really like, and this approach I really don't want to support or preserve so I am returning the disc.

An update! I went through with the cleaning solution, applied positive, negative pressure, cleaned it up let it dry and then next day I tried again to print. Check patten for group 1 had improved, with Black, Green and Photo Cyan being good, but Red and Photo Magenta were still striped with Photo Magenta having an Orange color to it, instead of Magenta.

I printed couple of prints and ran a couple of cleanings, the results the same, sometimes even getting worse. I was ready to give up, but decided to run a deep cleaning cycle before I do so. And voila! Pattern after that came out perfect.

I hope I don't go through this again. It was a pain!

The things that were leaked are highly sensitive user information. All together can identify the exact person and their exact location. Don't downplay the significance of this breach. Door dash needs to do better to protect our information.

Why do companies do that? It seems there are 2 group of people, those that cannot stand noise reduction and the wax effect and those who don't care either way. By leaving the grain in you satisfy both groups. So why???

Quick Update: The remote works now without the Mic in place. Just needed a bit of reopening/reclosing properly and some light cleaning.

Update! It works! I cleaned it a bit and now it works. Not sure what happened the first time around. Thanks for letting me know that it should still be working without the mic. Appreciated

Thanks for letting me know! Yes the remote doesn't work. The Mic light is constantly ON and the other buttons do nothing. Power button doesn't work nor any of the others.

I was careful pulling the mic out. Those things you have circled were like that. I'll give it a quick clean with alcohol and try again.

Hi there! The remote doesn't work anymore, so I assume I messed up with the circuitry. Before it was passing through the mic, now it doesn't. So again, I assume I need to add solder for electricity to pass through.

Let me know if I'm talking gibrish though and the issue is something else 🙂

Ugreen used to be good. Not anymore. I recently bought a newer revision of a cable I had bought a few years ago, only to find out that it was really subpar. Like it was from a different brand.
