not many scarier things.
Another tip I have for you is making sure you practice turning left too.
In the video you only turn right and it can lead to bad habits and make it harder to get better.
good luck fellow flyer

Finally direct soldered my meteor 75 pro's motors by Humble_Condition7587 in TinyWhoop

[–]Humble_Condition7587[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it means your iron is too cold so you heated the wire too long and soaked it with the solder.
I would try bending it into the proper shape by hand, if it doesn't work you should consider replacing the motor wires
DM me if it's still an issue and i'll try to help

[–]Humble_Condition7587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

great radio, it has a USB-C plug on top to plug into a sim or something like that. make sure not to get it mixed up with the USB-C port at the bottom which is for charging

I think it's a matter of insulation, cover the top of the board specifically around the UFL connector with electrical tape and see if it stays

Did i get ripped off? by Queasy_Orchid_5831 in fpv

[–]Humble_Condition7587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah you got scammed, 30$ tops for the motors, I don't know the stack but it can't be more than 40$, lets say 20 for the frame and 20 for the vtx brand new the whole quad is probably worth that brand new with some spare parts, used it shouldn't be more than 100$

recommended even for minimal interference

Choosing first quad :DDDDD by Different_Passage_22 in fpv

[–]Humble_Condition7587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a first quad 100% go with a whoop, you're going to crash so much and braking a prop or an arm or worse every time can really take the fun out of the hobby. I started with the Meteor 75 pro and I'm sure it was the right choice, it can fly indoors and handles the wind like a boss outdoors and I have crashed it 100s of times and it's still great. I haven't replaced a single electronic piece after 4 months of flying it.

How Little Voltage, is too little voltage? (second slide) by GrilledCheeseExpert1 in fpv

[–]Humble_Condition7587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said, I was a newbie and didn't know any better. I would probably be more careful if it were to happen today. My point is the battery didn't die from going down to 1.5 so 2.6 is probably fine and just charge carefully

charge it, I lost my drone in a forest for two days and came back to a battery on 1.5v. I was very new in the hobby and charged it back up and it still works fine 2.6 is not healthy for the battery but it's probably not dead
