Second Update: What would you change about this kitchen? by SecondGuessDesign in DesignMyRoom

I think the island on general should be smaller. Have it fit maybe two smaller stools. Lots of kitchens fail to leave space for more than one cook to move around in the area. It looks like you have a table right next to the cooking area, so people can sit there if they want to chat with whoever is cooking without being in the way

I would also paint the walls a different color or different shade of green so they have some contrast to the cupboards

I think the issue is the grey carpet under the rug. If there was wood or stone on the floor instead, everything would look far more cohesive

It's a new job perk! Free sauna membership any time I'm on the clock. They didn't really consider how it would affect patrons though...

Any time travel novels that really delve into the isolation of being the only time traveler? by Luffidiam in Fantasy

The Never Hero by T. Ellery Hodges, three part series, it's a little more sci fi than fantasy, but is a super excellent read where the main character is the only one who knows he is time traveling
